God breathed life

Paul Martini shares a powerful message on how Jesus came to set us free and restore the things the devil stole from us. He started by reminding everyone how man was separated from God because of sin. From when God created us, life was breathed into us.

“The last time God breathed on man was in Genesis 2 where it said that God made man out of the dust of the ground and He breathed into his nostrils and life came into him. And then sin entered the world and there was a chasm between God and man. There was no life, there was no peace,” he said.

Life and Peace

It is only when we sin will we be separated from God. That is when the enemy steals the life that was breathed by God and the peace from us. Paul referenced John 20:21 to explain how Jesus came to restore peace and life in us.

“And then Jesus now came, the prince of peace and lived a sinless life, died on the cross, rose again on the third day, restored the chasm between God and man and before He ascends into heaven, He breathes on them which would signify… this is Jesus restoring life and peace again.”

Restoration

No matter what you’ve done or what the enemy is telling you right now, Jesus is setting you free! Accept the freedom and the life that He is giving you by accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior. You are now a child of God, you no longer live as a slave but as an heir of God.

“Whether you feel like you’re a prisoner today for the things you’ve done wrong, you feel like you deserve not to have peace or something had been done against you that stole peace and now you’ve been captive. Jesus is here to set you both free.”

When fear, worries, and anxiety attack us, let us remember that Jesus is the prince of peace and He can calm the storm.

Fear & Anxiety

Fear and anxiety are what most people feel when the worries of this world come or the enemy attacks us. When we do feel fear during those moments, let us check ourselves because what’s inside of us is the thing that comes out of us. So, if fear and anxiety come out of us, we don’t have the peace of Jesus Christ inside of us.

Paul Martini shares a powerful message about peace in times of trials and distress. He referenced Romans 16:20 to emphasize that Jesus, the God of peace, crushes Satan under our feet. That’s how powerful His peace is.

“Who crushes Satan under your own feet according to the apostle Paul? The God of Peace. Why? Because His peace is that powerful,” he said.

Prince of peace

Mark 4: 35-40 tells the story of how the apostles feared after encountering a storm while they were on the boat. That story also showed us how the power of the Prince of peace calmed the storm. The fear that the disciples felt during that moment immobilized them, to the point that they even forgot about their faith. That’s how dangerous fear is.

“The one thing about fear is that it spreads like wildfire, it immobilizes you. It doesn’t allow anything positive to come out of it,” Paul explained.

Jesus will calm the storm

No matter what we are facing right now, let us remember that Jesus can calm any storm. The God of peace is in you. Jesus will calm any worries you have right now and will give you His peace.

“Jesus, who gets up within the same storm, in the same boat, instead of accepting the fear that’s in front of Him, He releases the peace that’s inside Him. He overcomes the storm.”
