O Come, All Ye Faithful
O Come All Ye Faithful is a best loved Christmas carol, originally written in Latin as ‘Adeste Fideles’ some three centuries ago and has been attributed to various authors. The English translation was written by Frederick Oakeley in 1841. Since then it has been sung at countless nativity plays, Carols By Candlelight events and many different recording artists and musicians have given it their own personal touch. The Pentatonix is certainly one of the best!
Part of the lyrics include: O come, all ye faithful / Joyful and triumphant / O come ye, o come ye to Bethlehem / Come and behold Him / Born the King of Angels! / O come, let us adore Him / O come, let us adore Him / O come, let us adore Him / Christ the Lord.
Let us all celebrate this Christmas Day by adoring Jesus Christ!
