Little Children Pray Over Police Officer Who They Met At Car Wash

Prayer is powerful. And for this police officer, receiving them from little children is welcomed.

Serving the community as a police officer is not easy. Aside from the risk and danger, malicious comments and biases can affect police morale. So, when two children approached Sergeant A. Herrera, he was happy to receive their prayers.

The children, accompanied their grandmother, were at a car wash when they saw the police officer. They approached Sgt. Herrera and asked to pray for him.

The Fayetteville Police Department in North Carolina recorded the special moment together. They posted, “These little ones ran into Sergeant A. Herrera at the car wash while there with their grandmother and took it upon themselves to pray over him.”

“Thank you for your prayers of protection and your kind heart,” they continued.

As James 5:16 says, “The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.”

Prayers of the children

Jesus even considered children as the greatest in the Kingdom of God.

He said in Matthew 18:3-4, “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.”

GOD TV recently reported a young child standing boldly on stage, breaking curses of the enemy and the spirit of religion and tradition. She then declared 1 Corinthians 2:9, saying that God is revealing something for them which no eye has seen and no ear has heard.

Police Officer Adopts Abandoned Baby: ‘She’s An Answered Prayer’

A Police Officer and his wife prayed to God to have their own family, and God led them to adopt a baby abandoned in a safe haven box.

Couple Praying To Have Their Own Family

Indiana Police Officer Bruce Faltynski and his wife Shelby had always dreamed of building their own family. They’d been praying to God about it and eventually the young couple decided to opt for adoption. First, they adopted an 8-year-old girl named Kaia. And months later, God once again added a new family member.

One fine day in northern Indiana firehouse, a baby was left abandoned in a Safe Haven box. The social service who took care of the baby later called her Myah. Unbeknown to the little baby, God had already prepared her would-be adoptive parents who asked God for her.

Apparently, Bruce and Shelby went through foster-to-adoptive parent training to enlist as a couple qualified to adopt babies. As they prepared themselves, God led them to baby Myah.

Finally, the social service called the couple and told them about the baby girl who needed a home. So, they took her home without any hesitation, knowing she was God’s answered prayer. Now, baby Myah does not just have a loving mother and father but a loving big sister as well.

In an interview with NewsNation, Bruce recounted the moment they received the social service call. They felt nervous, and then pure joy took over.

“We waited for God to give us our own family,” Shelby said.

Meanwhile, Myah’s new big sister, Kaia, also shared her excitement about having a baby sister.

“As I’m being a big sister, I can hold her, feed her and play with her cause it’s really fun to be with her,” the 8-year-old said.

Shelby also expressed her admiration for Myah and Kaia’s mother, who granted them the privilege of becoming their family. And the new mom has a message for other couples praying to have children. She encouraged, “…God uses the storm and He has good plans. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future and I hope that God can use our story to encourage another family to know that He truly does have better plans, even when it does not feel like it.”

Theft Victim Prays God Sends A Police Officer To Bless Him

A theft victim who prayed to God after losing his bike, received a new bike from a police officer and testified that the Officer was “Godsend.”

Walmart Employee’s Bike Stolen

One Saturday, Hapeville Officer Rowe met Craig Magby, a Walmart employee, coming home from work walking. While the two talked with each other, the Officer found out that someone stole his bike when he went out to buy groceries one day. Since then, he has had no choice but to walk to and from home to work.

After losing his bike, Craig prayed to God about it. And God told him just to let go of it. That’s when Officer Rowe came his way.

Later on in their conversation, the Officer felt convicted to give his new bike to the theft victim. Apparently, he just recently purchased the bike. He knew he had to something after discovering Craig’s situation.

“When he told me his bike was taken from him I didn’t say anything to him,” he recalled. “But I immediately knew I was going to bring that bike to him, and give it to him in hopes he could use it.”

God Answers Prayer Of Theft Victim

Soon after, Officer Rowe gave Craig his new bike without hesitation to replace the stolen one.

“When I saw something that I had that I wasn’t using, and there was somebody that desperately could use it every day,” he said. “I knew that I had to make that happen for him. It was just part of the way I was raised, the way I was brought up. To give back and to give where I can.”

Then Craig testified to God’s goodness and called the Officer “Godsend.” He credited everything God alone as he expressed his gratefulness on the blessing he received.

“I had talked to God about it,” he revealed. “He was like consider it done and he sent Officer Rowe my way. I’m grateful, thankful.”

Drug Addict Who Became A Christian Donates Kidney To Police Officer Who Jailed Her

A drug addict woman in Alabama who became a Christian donated her kidney to the police officer who jailed her. She attested that the Holy Spirit prompted her to do so.

Most Wanted Drug Addict

Between 2007 and 2012, Jocelynn James was in and out of jail due to theft and drug abuse. As a result, she became “Franklin’s Most Wanted” in Alabama. Living in darkness was the only life she knew until Christ met her.

While living her life around drugs, she met Officer Terrell Potter, who often arrested her.

“She was out running crazy, stealing and doing drugs and things she shouldn’t be doing,” the former Officer recalled. “I locked her up a couple of times.”

Today, Jocelynn is already sober for eight years after giving her life to God inside the jail. In fact, she felt grateful that Officer Terrell arrested her eight years ago because she found Jesus in prison.

WOMAN LEAVES PROSTITUTION AFTER HEARING THE WORD OF GOD

Then in 2019, the retired Officer suffered from kidney failure and had to undergo a kidney transplant. But he had to wait seven to eight years to receive a donation. So, Officer Terrell responded in the best possible way.

“We began praying about getting the right kidney,” he said. “We were looking all over the Southeast.”

Meanwhile, Jocelynn discovered through Facebook that the Officer who jailed her eight years ago needed a kidney.

“I just threw my phone down and the Holy Spirit told me right then that I had that man’s kidney,” she recounted.

Soon, doctors discovered through tests that the retired Officer and Jocelynn were a perfect match.

“If you asked me 100 names of who may give me a kidney, her name would have not been on the list,” Officer Terrell said. “It’s just unbelievable that she was willing to do that.”

Finally, both had a successful kidney transplant on July 21, 2019.

Jocelynn expressed how she was humbled to be used by God to extend the former Officer’s life.

“God restored me from the inside out, and to be able to give another human a kidney to extend his life is really rewarding,” she remarked.

Police Officer Meets Drug-Addicted Woman

On Sept. 23, 2017, Police Officer Ryan Holets met a drug-addicted woman named Crystal Champ on the streets of Albuquerque, New Mexico. When he saw the woman, she was about to inject heroin into her veins. The Officer approached her and discovered that she was pregnant. So, he warned her not to do it because it would surely kill her baby.

Soon, Crystal broke down in tears and told her story to the Officer. Apparently, she started doing drugs in her teenage years. Crystal tried to change, but every time, her addiction came back. The 35-year-old became homeless and got pregnant as she lived on the streets.

God Prompts To Adopt Baby

In the video recorded by Ryan’s bodycam, Crystal shared her frustrations and pain.

“You have no idea how hard this is,” she told the Officer. “I know what a horrible person I am and what a horrible situation I’m in.”

Then she opened up that she “had been looking for someone who could adopt her unborn baby.” That’s when Ryan felt a prompting in his heart.

As a Police Officer, it’s no longer unusual that he would witness things like Crystal’s situation. However, this time, he clearly heard God speaking to him.

“Tell her that you will do it because you can,” God told him.

After hearing God’s voice, Ryan immediately called his wife, Rebecca. Even with four kids already, the Christian couple obeyed God and agreed to adopt the baby.

Three weeks after that encounter, Crystal gave birth to a baby girl. Ryan and Rebecca named their new daughter Hope. And the couple plans to tell baby Hope the truth when she gets older.

Following the adoption, Crystal went to rehab and is now in better condition.

“There needs to be more people like Ryan and his wife and their family in this world,” Crystal attested.

A Police Officer who was shot while chasing a suspect remained faithful to God despite his unlikely health condition: “I’m weak but God is strong.”

In February, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Officer Thomas Mangan chased a suspect around Fountain Square. And while on the line of duty, the suspect shot him, and the bullet hit his neck. Although he survived the critical condition, it significantly damaged his Adam’s apple and voice box. As a result, he could hardly speak or make sounds with his voice.

The Officer’s journey to healing wasn’t easy because of how it greatly affected his ability to speak. But by the grace of God, Thomas remained faithful to God. Together with his wife, Emory, they leaned on Jesus in the battle.

Emory often encouraged her husband and reminded him of his identity. The wife narrated, “I would say ‘Tommy you’re so strong. You got this Tommy.’ He would just shake his head — he would say no. ‘I’m weak but GOD is strong.'”

God’s Love

Further, Thomas felt grateful to God for his wife’s unconditional love amidst what happened to him. Her presence “has made all the difference.”

“Some people, through difficult circumstances, wouldn’t hold it together with big changes and end up leaving,” he said. ‘Because her love for me is steadfast and unconditional, she’s still here with me.”

Also, the Officer highlighted how the unlikely circumstance led his relationship with his wife to go into deeper love. Hence, he wouldn’t want to change anything. But above all, he has come to know deeper about God’s love through what happened.

Today, Thomas is healing well, and he credits God for everything. His faith and full support from faith-filled family and friends led him to overcome the process. And he has a message to every aspiring police officer: “Law Enforcement is not a job about glamour or yourself. It’s about service.”

Growing Up In Poverty

Tim Rutherford grew up in a poor neighborhood in Upstate New York. He had a drug-addicted and alcoholic father. Life was hard for Tim. Hence, he swore he would never grow up poor as a 13-year-old. And soon after, he moved in with his Christian aunt and uncle in Florida after graduating high school.

Tim gave his life to Jesus at that point because his aunt and uncle’s faith greatly influenced him. But he never really followed Jesus and settled with just being a “lukewarm” Christian. Soon, his dream of becoming a police officer replaced his faith. His focus shifted, and eventually, Tim drifted away from God. Unbeknown to him, it would soon demand a lot from his life.

Police Officer Struggle With Anxiety

Tim finally achieved his dream at 24 years old and became a patrol officer. But soon, his passion for protecting people would drive him to the edge as the officer witnessed the reality of man’s awful behavior. The horrible things he saw over seven years took a toll on him and began to affect his mental health.

Later, Tim turned to alcohol and anger to vent his stress and frustration from his job. It slowly destroyed his marriage, and his mental health continued to decline. He also began using antidepressants, but they never cured him. He continued with his job despite what it cost him because he needed the money. In the end, he was diagnosed with general anxiety disorder.

One night, Tim had a mental breakdown, and he decided just to end his life. His family managed to call 911, and authorities took him to a psychiatric facility. Then in an isolated room, Tim cried out to Jesus again after a very long time.

A picture of a Colombian police officer went viral as he was caught on his knees, praying for his afflicted country. The nation is suffering from violent attacks from ominous gangs targeting the police and civilians.

Colombia has seen more than 30 deaths of police officers just this year. According to Catholic News Agency, crime gangs, namely the Clan del Golfo, have caused the killings.

The criminal organization promised rewards of up to 5 million Colombian pesos for the assassinations. As such, more and more police officers have fallen victim to their evildoings.

As a result, Colombians have been seeking God for help and protection. That is why when they saw the picture of the police praying on his knees, stretching his hands out to heaven, it touched their hearts because it perfectly represented their current situation.

The unknown police officer has received thousands of support online. One commenter shared, “The policeman is clear about it. He knows that wars are won on his knees. Blessings for all the police and military in Colombia.”

Another user prayed, “Beloved God, bathe all police officers and soldiers with your blessed blood and do not allow them to be killed by the same man. Lord Jesus Christ, let them live with dignity. I understand that everyone makes mistakes. But murder is not the way to die. Mercy, Lord.”

Pray for Colombia

Meanwhile, religious organizations have united to pray for the nation. Last July 28, the Colombian Bishop’s Conference have called the citizens “to pray to the Lord of Life for the National Police and for a country at peace and reconciled. ”

They also offered words of encouragement and thanks for all the members of the police force who have been selfless in their service for the country.

Moreover, they urged the police officers to call on the Lord everyday as He is the refuge in times of danger.

Let us join with Colombia to pray against the attacks of the enemy. Jesus is undefeated. Let us declare His victory over the nation, today.

An 8-year-old boy approached a police officer because he wanted prayer, and it’s inspiring many people.

In 2017, a Christian lady shared a video on Instagram of an officer praying for a young boy in a parking lot. The Atlanta police officer was Danielle Ognelodh. Apparently, the 8-year-old kid first approached her and told her he wanted prayer. So, without hesitation, she gladly prayed for him.

Danielle placed her hands on the boy’s shoulders and began uttering a prayer. That’s when someone recorded the heartwarming moment on camera.

In the Instagram post, Danielle quoted in the caption Psalm 127:3, “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.” And also, Proverbs 22:6, where it was written, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Later on, Officer Danielle revealed the prayer she uttered for the little guy. The young boy apparently wanted prayer because of their community’s challenging and difficult moments. Hence, she prayed for safety and protection not just for him, but for the whole community.

The heartwarming moment blessed thousands that several users commented how it brought them to tears.

Moreover, another user commended Officer Danielle for her faith. User Leroy wrote, “Keep it up woman of God. If we get more people like you policing these streets, the world will be a better place.”

Five years have passed, and the video is still blessing many people. Perhaps it’s a constant reminder for every believer to continue being the salt and light of this world. That in every difficult situation, prayer is the best way to deal with it. It’s never an option, but the only way.

Police Officer Responds To A Lonely Man’s Complaint And Blesses Him

Police officers regularly receive calls and complaints through their service to the community. But, in Middleton, Connecticut, a police officer received an unlikely complaint. And he responded with kindness and grace.

Responding to complaints with grace

They reported Police Officer Andrew Brooks’ extraordinary service on their official Facebook page. It turned out that the complaint was from a lonely man who needed someone to talk to.

They shared, “There is no such thing as a “routine” call for service on this job! This evening, officers responded to a residence to meet with a complaint who needed to talk to [the] police.”

Upon arrival, they met with the complainant, a male and the sole occupant of his residence. He confessed that he was having a rough week. It seemed that he was really undergoing a difficult time because he kept telling the cops he was hungry, but the man did not know what to cook.

As police officers do, officer Brooks came to the rescue.

“Without hesitation, Officer Andrew Brooks utilized the male’s garden and the food he had in the house and made this gentleman [a] dinner.”

The policeman made the troubled man fried eggs and toasted his bread. He then served the warm meal.

“Sometimes a hot meal and someone to talk to is all it takes to lift someone’s spirits and change their perception of things,” they said.

This is the side of the policemen that most people don’t see. They do not just jump in action when our safety is in danger. They also sit beside insecure and troubled people to spend time and let them know they are worthy.

Just like Police Officer Michael Rivers from Goldsboro, North Carolina. He spent his lunch break with homeless people and sat beside them outside the comfort of his office.

Police officers Brooks and Rivers are exemplary models of what a public servant looks like.
