Some of you are in transition. Some of you are about to move into something that you’ve never done before. Some of you are moving physically, some of you are starting new jobs, or careers. There’s a call on your life and you feel the transition. Now, in birth, I’m a doula and birth is my language. So, when a woman is in transition in birth, that means it’s almost time for her to push. That is the time when lots of moms ask for pain relief, and when they say, “I can’t do this anymore.” If you are saying, “I can’t do this anymore,” I want to encourage you: You’re right at the door of where you need to be. So, take another step forward, and then take another step forward, and then take another step forward, and be faithful in the thing that God has called you to do. And if you will do that, you’re going to find yourself rejoicing on the other side, just like a mother forgets the pain of childbirth as soon as her baby is born.
You’re going to walk into a place of promise, and getting to that place of promise, it takes a little bit of determination. But you know what else? You need help. You need someone to come alongside you and cheer you on. So I want to pray for you today that God would bring the people that you need, your cheerleaders that you need to move forward and keep going.
So God, I thank you for everyone today who is about to walk into a promise. God, I thank you for the promises that they’ve already walked through. I thank you for the breakthrough that you’ve already brought them through. And I pray God, that you would bring the people to walk with them. God, that you would align them with their tribe of people, and in this time of transition, God, that they would be strengthened in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
