I want to encourage you out of two scriptures today, that you can hear God’s voice, that God is speaking to you. It’s not just the preacher on the stage or the teacher with the Bible study that’s published on Amazon. God is speaking to you. In Jeremiah 33:3 it says “Call to me and I will answer to you. ” That is a promise.
That was an Old Testament promise. In Matthew 7:7 it says, “Ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” It’s the same promise and the New Covenant promise. And so when we ask, we will receive; and for me, this was the key for me. God was speaking, but I didn’t understand how He was speaking to me. He can speak through feeling and knowing and our thoughts, and our senses, and seeing. There’s so many ways that God can speak to us.
And so I want to encourage you that if you’re struggling with hearing God’s voice, is be open to the idea that He might be speaking to you through a picture, or something you see in nature, or maybe you just know something, or you feel something, or you sense something, or you hear His voice in your head, but you think it’s yours. I just want to encourage you that there’s so many ways that God is speaking and He is speaking to you. And so I bless you with an increased awareness to hear His voice for you. Amen.
