“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” Matthew 5:6 KJV Choose to hunger and thirst after Christ. Seek Him first. In addition, choose to hunger after His Word. Choose to hunger after Righteousness. Firstly, God is raising up a generation who craves Him. Secondly, God is raising up a generation who is thirsty for more of Him. Finally, God is raising up a “Righteous Remnant” who will not bow to Baal or the way of the world.
“Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.” (1 Kings 19:18 KJV)
Remnant Rising.
God is raising up a generation that will forever surrender to His Way of doing things. There is a “Remnant Rising” who will surrender to His Voice. God is raising up a generation who yields to His Way and surrenders to His Heart.
The Amplified Version declares, “Blessed and fortunate and happy and spiritually prosperous (in that state in which the born-again child of God enjoys His favor and salvation) are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God), for they shall be completely satisfied!” Matthew 5:6 AMPC.
Blessed, happy, and fortunate is the Child of God who seeks after the Righteousness of Christ. Pattern your ways after Christ. Seek Christ and you’ll be completely satisfied. God is raising up a generation who choose to serve and please Christ.
Faithwalkers.
God is raising up a remnant who craves to live by faith and not by sight. For 2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV declares, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” God is raising up a generation of “Faithwalkers” who will choose to walk by faith and not by sight. God is raising up a generation who is willing to walk out onto the water with Christ. Choose to walk out onto the water.
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV)
God is raising up a generation who is willing to crush the mediocrity of the boat and step out into their purpose. God is raising up a generation who is willing to walk in their call. Choose to walk in your call.
The New Living Translation expounds upon Matthew 5:6 NLT in the following manner, “God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied.” First, choose to seek the righteousness of Christ. Second, choose to hunger and thirst after His Way of doing things. And lastly, choose to hunger, thirst, and seek after the Heart of Christ.
Seek Christ.
Proverbs 8:17 KJV declares, “I love them that love me, and those that seek me early shall find me.” First of all, seek Christ. Seek God early in the situation. Second of all, seek the Wisdom of Christ early in the circumstance. Finally, seek Christ in everything that you do.
Luke 14:31 KJV declares,“...what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?”
Seek Christ before you pursue that opportunity. Seek the Wisdom of God before you execute. Surround yourself with Godly Counsel before you make plans to execute. God is raising up a generation who will seek His Counsel before presumptuously pursuing opportunities.
Wise Counsel.
“Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.” Proverbs 11:14 KJV Surround yourself with seasoned and mature counselors who pattern themselves after the Word of God.
“Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety.” (Proverbs 11:14 KJV)
Matthew 4:4 KJV declares, “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Live by the Word of God. Pursue Christ. Pursue the Way of God. Surrender to His Promises.
Psalms 37:23 KJV declares, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.” Follow after the Principles and Precepts of Christ and let His Word shape the steps of your life.
