Kathie Lee Gifford is an actress, singer, songwriter and three time Emmy award winning co-host of the fourth hours of “Today” alongside Hoda Kotb. Above all the highlights of her career, Kathie Lee Gifford is a devoted follower of our Savior Jesus Christ.
At the age of 65 years old, she opened up about love after the death of her husband, Frank Gifford, in one of her interviews with Access Live. She was asked if she wanted to find love again. She said that the probability is less likely than it used to be, but she did have one date hat didn’t go so well. When the interviewers asked her what happened, she boldly answered with these inspiring words:
“He didn’t share my faith and He couldn’t understand why I didn’t want to be with him and I said, My Faith isn’t something I do on sunday mornings for an hour. My Faith is me. And I’m not going to share my life with somebody or even another hour of my life on a date with you if you don’t share the same passion for your faith as I do.”
What she said is truly inspiring – she wouldn’t compromise her faith for a man. That serves as a wonderful message especially to those single women who are waiting for a godly relationship. Never compromise your faith, and learn to fight for it just like Kathie Lee. God gives us opportunities all the time to share his love with people. May you use your platforms and situations to be bold for the faith.
Watch and be inspired:
