Bright Rainbow That ‘Seemed To Last Forever’ Spotted Outside Covenant Christian School In Tennessee

Three weeks following the tragedy at Covenant Christian School in Nashville, Tennessee, a vivid rainbow appeared outside. Children played beneath it’s expanse over the grassy lawn. In images of the rainbow shared on social medai, believers are seen gathered outside of the chapel to take it in.

Believers encouraged by God as a rainbow appears outside Covenant Christian School

“For those who missed my last post – yesterday afternoon, right as we were beginning our first chapel back as the Covenant School Community and also back at Covenant Church, this rainbow came out of NOWHERE.” Barnes began his Facebook post.

“It was SO bright and SO intense and seemed to last forever. It was like God was yelling from heaven – “I see you! I have not forgotten you!” It was one of the most poignant things I’ve ever experienced in my life.”

“God never promises for everything to make sense. He’s God and we’re not. But He promises that He loves us and will always take care of us. And what did God decide to use show this promise (also known as his COVENANT!!) to his people?
Rainbows.”

In a viral TikTok, @davidpaulwrites shared Barne’s images requesting that viewers “like to let them know you are praying for them”. The video has over 154,000 views and 19,000 likes.

Continue to pray for the families and community surrounding Covenant Christian school as they mourn their losses. Pray that God’s spirit would be near to the brokenhearted!

Rainbow Appeared Over Westminster Abbey On Evening Of Queen Elizabeth’s Burial

A rainbow appeared over Westminster Abbey on the evening of Queen Elizabeth’s burial.

During the announcement of Queen Elizabeth’s death on September 8, the people of England witnessed a double arched rainbow over Windsor Castle just as the Union Jack flag began to be lowered at half mast in honor of the monarch’s death.

“As the flag is lowered to half-mast over Windsor Castle an incredible rainbow appears over the castle, for a few minutes and then just like that it was gone….” royal photographer Chris Jackson shared on Twitter.

And on Sunday, on the evening of the Queen’s final farewell, another rainbow appeared over Westminster Abbey. People who witnessed the rainbow were in awe of the sight.

“The most incredible rainbow over the Palace of Westminster on the eve of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral,” government official Joe Porter wrote on Twitter.

Many are calling it a sign from God. A sign of his love and comfort over the people of the United Kingdom amidst the mourning. The country may have lost its Queen, but the Lord is reminding them that they still have Him as their King.

“What a sign of God’s love for the people of the UK and His faithfulness,” Jodie Hughes wrote on her Facebook.

She also noted that the Lord is calling the people of the United Kingdom into His heart during this shifting time.

“God is so kind and faithful, and very good at broadcasting what He wants to say. In this case, God is making it abundantly clear He has not forgotten his promises to you UK. He is brooding over you and tenderly calling you to His heart. The Lord wants you to know He is your secure place in shifting times.”

Christian Athlete Ryan Succop Wins Super Bowl After The Lord Showed Him A Rainbow

Christian athlete Ryan Succop recently won this season’s Super Bowl after the Lord showed him a rainbow that led him to Tampa Bay.

Ryan Succop has been a professional football player since he joined the National Football League (NFL) in 2009. Kansas City Chief picked him as the final pick of the 2009 NFL Draft. After four years playing with the Chiefs, he played with the Tennessee Titans for another five years before he encountered an injury in 2019.

The injury left him without a job throughout most of 2020 in the middle of the pandemic.

“Last year was a really difficult year for me, coming off of an injury, trying to play and maybe wasn’t where I needed to be, and really struggled when I played,” he told Sports Spectrum in an interview last week. “It was tough, it was frustrating, there was definitely some adversity. When you go through something like that, I think it’s human nature where you start to kind of doubt yourself.”

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

In August of 2020, Ryan met with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Despite the worries of being away with his family, he trusted the Lord for the decision he would be making.

“This is wild, but literally the night before that workout (in Tampa), I had been praying about this like, ‘Lord, if You want this for me and my family, I just trust You with it and I’ll just trust You to take care of it. And You’ll show me if You want us to be here or not,” he said.

God answered his prayer in a marvelous way! God showed him a rainbow the evening of that same day. The rainbow clearly led him to Tampa Bay.

“There’s a rainbow that goes directly over, and it looks like it goes directly into Raymond James Stadium. … It was unavoidable, like I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, the Lord is showing me that He wants me to be here.’”

Today, together with Ryan Succop, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the Super Bowl LV against Kansas City Chiefs.

Rain And Restoration In The Month Of Cheshvan

Welcome to the second month on the Hebrew civil calendar, Cheshvan. This is a time of restoring! I hear words for the month: Restoration and Rain. Take a moment to remember how God cleansed, restored, and saved our humanity through Noah during this month. Noah was recognized as a righteous man in Genesis 7: 1 (NIV), “The Lord then said to Noah, ‘Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.’”

When you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are called the righteous of God. This means you’re now considered to be a man or a woman who God stands beside. His righteousness not only brings protection but also identifies you in the spirit realm. You have been given Christ’s robe, breastplate, and crown of righteousness as a gift! Because of this gift, the angels are with you and God is going to carry you into the land He called you to inhabit.

Rain.

God is bringing rain. During this month, the floods came and cleansed the earth. God only saved the righteous, Noah’s family. You may be going through a difficult time right now. Situations are arising in your family. Your marriage may be on the rocks. You may be having problems with friends and division is present. But there’s good news! God is sending rain to cleanse you and make you whole. Anything that is broken, God is drawing to Himself and making it like new. It doesn’t matter what kind of brokenness you are experiencing; God is cleansing you and will restore you!

Cheshvan: Restoration.

One of the blessings during this month is restoration! God is going to be restoring things in your life and your family! Whatever the locust has stolen, God is going to return it. Get ready! God is going to do some rebuilding. Keep in mind that God is also going to close some doors. You may see something leave that you considered having value, but God will take the broken and fragmented part and rebuild something new. God is getting ready to build new generations, new things in your life that will last for generations to come. You will leave a legacy of righteousness on this earth!

Be encouraged. God is working. He’s moving on your heart. Read Genesis 7 with the perspective that you are righteous in Christ and God has given you access to all you need through His Son Jesus Christ. God IS GOING to protect, provide, bless, and give you increase and prosperity just as He did Noah and his family. He is going to rebuild, reestablish, reposition, and restore you in the mighty name of Jesus! Now your job is to stand firm – even if things don’t seem like they’re working. Hold on tight to Him. He is your anchor and your root system. God is restoring even our nation. He is doing what only He can do. We must submit to Him and stay encouraged.

Churches Gather For Jesus Reigns Celebration and Rainbow Suddenly Appears

Jesus Reigns is a nationwide day of celebration in the Philippines across the 82 provinces of the island nation, to declare Jesus as Lord.

It’s vision is: to see every nation, consumed by the love of the Heavenly Father, empowered by the Holy Spirit, seeking to honor God and worship Jesus Christ alone and exalt the name of Jesus in righteous living as one body for individual restoration and national transformation. – Jesus Reigns website

This event is held on November 30 every year and gathers the Body of Christ together from different churches to promote unity. This is the time of the year where devoted followers put denominational and theological differences aside, and unite.

During this year’s event an amazing phenomenon happened. In a national park in Quezon City where the Jesus Reigns celebration was being held, a rainbow suddenly appeared in the sky.

The scientific explanation of a rainbow is a meteorological phenomenon that is caused by reflection, refraction, and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky. The detail that God puts into creating these masterpieces is amazing.

Rainbows in the Bible

The Bible references this beautiful phenomenon in the Old Testament. It is found in Genesis 9:13-16,

“I have set My rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember My covenant between Me and You and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”

The Word of God is clear that the rainbow is a reminder of His promises to us. He continues to keep His promises from generation to generation even when we a unfaithful to Him. As thousands of Filipinos declared the name of Jesus over their nation, the Spirit of the Lord was present. Shobe Santiago, who beheld the great wonder posted on Facebook:

God is so faithful! These rainbows serve as banners of His love and reminders that He is here with us. Thank You Jesus!
