God Healed A Mother’s Pain After Losing Her Daughter To Suicide

Xenia shared her testimony about how God healed her heart after she lost her daughter to suicide.

Xenia’s Story

Xenia was born in New York but grew up in El Salvador when her parents got separated. She was raised by a single father along with her other three sisters.

In her words, he became her mother and father.

But as the years went on, and her father remarried and had more children. His loving demeanor toward Xenia changed, and he became abusive.

Because of this, Xenia moved to the United States to live with her mother. And there, she got involved in a gang lifestyle.

She recalled that her first encounter with Jesus was when she was eleven years old. It was after she read the book “The Life of Jesus.”

“When I finished reading that book, I was in love with the Lord. I felt so much love with Jesus,” she said.

She Lost Her Daughter To Suicide

But the lifestyle she embraced continued to take her further from God.

When God seemed to be restoring everything in Xenia’s life, something terrible happened.

“In the middle of this transaction, of doing all this, you know, God is doing amazing things. God is opening doors, God is bringing people, and we are about to buy this other building. I noticed my daughter started suffering from depression,” she said.

Her youngest daughter was very close to Xenia. She would often ask how her daughter was doing.

“I would ask her, you know, like, “What’s wrong, baby? Why are you so sad?” Sometimes I would find her crying, and she would be like, “I don’t know, mom. I just feel really sad,”” Xenia recalled.

God Healed A Mother’s Pain Who Lost Her Daughter To Suicide

Then one day, Xenia’s daughter took her life.

“She left a note saying, “I’m sorry for doing this. You are amazing parents. But I can’t do this any more,”” Xenia recalled.

As a mother, she thought she wouldn’t ever move past what happened. But God is close to the brokenhearted.

God walked with Xenia’s pain, and when asked, “Who is Jesus to you?” she said:

“Jesus is everything for me. I tell Jesus, “You’re the best thing that has happened in my life. Jesus is my Savior. He’s my Lord. He’s my King, He’s my redeemer. And He’s also my judge, and that’s amazing because, knowing that He judges me, you know, you don’t have to worry about anything. He’s also my lawyer. Because the Bible talks about it, Him as our lawyer. I don’t have the words to say who Jesus is to me. He’s everything. And He’s my best friend. He’s my brother, and I love Him.”

The Mysterious Glory of Do-overs

What if something about your life story has seemingly held you back or slowed you down?

Maybe you grew up in a particular setting that prevented you from the knowledge of how to get from point A to point B.

Maybe you just showed up late to the ‘party’, everyone had already gone home, and you missed it.

So NOW you ‘get it’; now you’re ready; now all the lights are ON; now you’re equipped with knowledge and growth; now you’re finally healed or set free from all those things that kept you down. And NOW it’s years and years later. and you’re trying to play ‘catch up’.

But life has moved on and you are just now arriving.

IT IS NEVER TOO LATE

I’d like to assure you that it’s never too late. Let me repeat that – It is NEVER too late! You’re still breathing? Well, there’s your sign! Yes, what lies before you will all be different – feel different – look different – sometimes you’ll question if you should bother to keep going; you know, as late as you are! The answer is, YES – keep going!

At some point people – stop beating yourself up for not knowing what you didn’t know! When you DO finally reach that AHA moment (or it may be more like – Oh Noooo – decide right there and then NOT to look back and only to look AHEAD!

BETTER LATE THAN NEVER

Forward is the only direction to go! “Better late than never” is a TRUE statement!Let’s face it – that first ‘party’ you missed? The one you showed up late to and all the chicken wing dip was gone – and everyone had gone home? Yeah, it’s over. There is something powerful about facing the truth, not letting it destroy you and making a NEW plan!

Party time! YOU throw a NEW party yourself! This is the glory of new chances and new beginnings and fresh starts! Do overs! Do betters! MORE chicken wing dip! Nothing feels better than the opportunity to try again!

Restoration means: “The action of returning something to a former owner, rebuild, mend, fix, refurbish, repair, remodel, redecorate, overhaul, makeover.”

Many times in our lives we WILL show up late – it’s just the journey of our own personal experiences and learning curves. It’d be great if we get it all right, dot all our i’s, cross all our t’s, our ducks stay in perfect formation, and we follow all life instructions like we are following a detailed cake recipe. In the real world though? We all need do overs. We all need some ‘home’ renovations. We all need a makeover. We all need some restoration.

1 Peter 5:10 says, “And the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast”
HE will restore you – HE will make you strong. HE will restore lost time.

THE MIRACLE OF THE DO-OVER

There is great mystery and wonder as to how God can get us to exactly where He wants us to go; despite detours and delays and ALL the obstacles we have faced; all the cycles we got stuck in. But He CAN and He WILL. So, get up – get dressed – put on your dancing shoes – phone a friend – cue the rejoicing music – and get back to living!

Man Who Stole Sean Feucht’s Guitar Surrenders His Life To Jesus; “God Writes The Best Stories”

The man who stole Sean Feucht’s guitar appeared at one of the worship leader’s worship conferences. He repented, surrendered his life to Jesus, and even got baptized. “God takes what the enemy meant for evil and turns it around!” Sean said.

In June, Sean announced on his social media that his car was broken into and his ’67 Gallagher guitar was stolen. He asked for prayers for justice that his “irreplaceable” guitar would be returned.

And just days after, one of Sean’s friends found the guitar in a pawnshop. The theif, Zach, was a drug addict and sold the guitar to buy more drugs.

But weeks later, they ran into the thief on the city streets. Sean told ChurchLeaders, “Although I had to pay thousands of dollars to get my car fixed and buy the guitar back from a pawn shop, it will all be worth it if Zach surrenders his life to Jesus.”

And so they invited Zach to the “Let Us Worship” event. He also urged people to pray that Zach would surrender his life to Jesus.

Surrender to Jesus

This past weekend, Zach attended the event. Sean told ChurchLeaders,” [Zach] came on stage. I forgave him, we hugged. It’s all in the video, and then he said he wanted to give his life to Jesus. He wanted to be free from drug addiction. He wanted to surrender, and so they led him to Jesus. And then he said he wanted to get baptized, and so he was got baptized last night.”

Sean added, “God writes the best stories.🥹😭 Zach gave his life to Jesus and was baptized because a BOLD CHURCH refused to back down. During a crisis, they did not run, hide, or make excuses, they called on God.”

Indeed, God’s justice is love and not retribution. He wants everyone to be saved.

Couple’s First Date Was In A Strip Club, But God Changed Their Lives

A couple recently shared their testimony, how they met at a strip club, and how God changed their lives.

At A Strip Club

Jerome and Denisse’s first encounter wasn’t at all ideal. They met in a strip club. And on that night, Denisse almost died.

But this imperfect love story reveals how God loves His people perfectly and how He turns all things around for our good.

Denisse shared, “On our first date, we actually went to a strip club. And then that night, at the strip club, I almost died that night.”

“We both had pain. I was trying to find fulfillment in other women. So, we were just two hurt people coming together, drowning our emotions in marijuana,” Jerome said.

Knowing Jesus

Even though this couple’s first date was in a strip club, it wasn’t an accident that they met that night. When they were high on drugs, deep questions about life would always come up.

“The moment we would start smoking, we would start asking all those,” Jerome said.

Denisse relied heavily on the New Age before, using crystals and sage. But it started to bother them both. The first time that it troubled Jerome badly was when he was at his mother’s house.

“I was chilling at my mom’s house. I used to be very addicted to masturbation and pornography. And I would start having these conversations in my head about… I just don’t believe in the devil. I’ll just make it to heaven. And those conversations would go on before and after I would watch porn. I would feel very bad,” he recalled.

The Drawing In

“The Father started drawing you in,” Richard commented, and Jerome agreed.

One night, when they were both high, they could tell that there was a demonic presence present.

And so, they started praying to Jesus. Physical manifestations began to happen, like a severe headache and shaking. But they didn’t stop praying. They just knew that God was setting them free!

From then on, the couple started reading their Bible. It wasn’t long before God started to convince them to change their lives.

“My TikTok switched around. I was just, you know, used to seeing these worldly things. But now, it’s all about Jesus. Healing, prayer, deliverance. God turned it all around.

“I dropped everything. I stopped cursing, and I stopped all these things. And I just started living for Him,” Jerome concluded.

You Are A “Recycled” Masterpiece

Nowadays, the garbage collectors don’t just pick up your garbage, they also pick up your recyclables. They encourage you to separate the two – the garbage, and the items that can be used again – or recycled. Hmmm. I have seen myself in that recycle bin.

PASSING THRU CHANGES

What we think is meant to destroy us, can be turned into our greatest purpose.

To recycle means: “To convert waste into usable material, reuse, recover, reclaim, use again, salvage, save.”

The word recycle in verb form means: “to pass again through a series of changes or treatments; such as – to process something such as liquid body waste, glass or cans in order to regain material for human use.” (Amazing).

Let’s talk about glass (which I break often. Sadly true.) Did you know that glass bottles and jars are 100% recyclable and-and-and THIS – (ready? THIS is the best part) – “and can be recycled endlessly without any loss in purity or quality.” WHAT? You need to read that again – “and can be recycled endlessly without ANY loss in purity or quality.”

THE VALUE OF A HUMAN SOUL

So many times (too many times) we get caught up and consumed by our own flaws and failures, and all the “coulda, shoulda, wouldas” and the excruciating emptiness we have inside. The enemy of our soul relentlessly barrages us with attacks of shame, and regret, and guilt. We can feel like we have done something so despicable that we set the planet off its orbit and it’s not fixable. All hope is gone. Or am I the only one who ever entertained that lie? Yes, it is a lie. On our own we can’t put broken glass back together, or find lost purity, or innocence stolen from us. BUT GOD CAN. Remember, “…recycled endlessly without any loss of purity or quality.” And that fact just comes from broken glass, people! How much more important and valuable is a human soul, to the God who created it???

RECYCLED MASTERPIECE

All my hope comes from my trust that the God who made me, will finish what He started in me – that He will recycle me endlessly and as much as needed – that He will make me a masterpiece. He will change me through series of treatments. He will mold me, shape me, and in the recycling comes the purpose and the final perfection. “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works…” (Ephesians 2:10)

Say it with me and be very excited, “I AM a recyclable! I have such great worth that God would take the time and the effort to make my life over again.” (and over, and over, and over…)

“The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.” (Psalm 138:8) I hope you can begin to see yourself the way God sees you. It is truly a beautiful thing. You are a recycled masterpiece!

International Evangelist Who Had An Abortion Met Her Baby In Heaven

An international evangelist had an abortion before she knew of Jesus Christ. She has since experienced heaven and the Presence of God, and had an encounter where she met her baby boy.

International Evangelist

Jacqui Ford runs an Evangelism Ministry, Heaven’s Harvest, where she trains believers in evangelism to partner with heaven in the end times harvest. She has spoken and equipped churches across the globe and has seen over a million lives saved in Jesus.

But before she became the woman God called her to be, she lived a hard life.

When she was still a teenager, her parents divorced after being saved. As a result, Jacqui went into an identity crisis. She felt unprotected, meaningless, and vulnerable.

Thus, she started looking for love in the wrong places.

Jacqui did drugs, went to parties, and entered into toxic relationships until she eventually found herself pregnant and decided to have an abortion.

Her life just got worse as she suffered depression and suicidal thoughts. She knew demons were oppressing her but did not know what to do.

God encounters

One day, she went to a beach to end her life. But first, she uttered a wholehearted prayer. She said, “God if You are really real, if You actually exist, You need to come right now.”

Jacqui never thought that God would hear her prayer. Suddenly, one woman approached her and gave her a yellow flower. She turned to look for the one who gave her the flower, but the woman had disappeared.

She later knew that it was an angel sent by God to tell her that He was near.

Since then, Jacqui has given her life to Jesus. She found her time with God her most peaceful moments, so every opportunity she gets, she worships God.

And her experiences with God have been supernatural. But even so, Jacqui was ashamed of the abortion.

One day, God set her free from shame when He let her see her baby boy in heaven.

“He’s with Jesus. And the Lord started healing my heart because I never thought that that child would have got the love that I would have given that child. It was so beautiful.”

Today, Jacqui continues to “preach the uncompromised Gospel and imparts empowering boldness to manifest the Kingdom.”

TobyMac Confesses He Quit Reading The Bible After Son Died, But God Drew Him Back

TobyMac confesses that he stopped reading the Bible after his son, Truett, died, but God drew him back.

The Grammy Award-winning Christian artist has been reading the whole Bible when his 21-year-old son died in 2019. TobyMac can’t finish reading it after that tragedy. He has stopped reading the Bible.

“I got about halfway through the Old Testament” before his son died. “… And I didn’t really have the heart to keep reading, so I put it down,” he said.

Stopped Reading the Bible

However, God drew him back into His Scripture. TobyMac also recalled how he learned many lessons during those tough days about his Christian faith.

“I looked up at God, and I told Him, ‘I’m going to give You a chance.’ That’s pretty bold to say to the God of all creation, you know what I’m saying? But I said that,” TobyMac said. “And I kept reading. And I learned something about relationships. You see, you can’t have a relationship with anyone if you’re not talking to them and they’re not talking to you. You can’t have a relationship if you’re not listening to them, and they’re not listening to you.”

God Drew Him Back

He then continued to explain that the Bible is how God talks to us and we respond to Him with our prayers.

“So I kept going. And there’s something beautiful that I learned that comes with having a relationship with God. You see, He makes us these promises. And the promise that I’ve been hanging on [to] for the last few years is this: God promised that if we have a relationship with Him, He will never leave us or forsake us. … He might not change what happened. He might not make everything different. But He doesn’t go away.”

TobyMac’s testimony of how God pulled him out of the tragedy is a lesson for all who have also been going through tough times. No matter what happens or whatever circumstance we are in, God will never leave us nor forsake us.

God’s Declaration Over You: You Are Redeemed

I have redeemed you, you are mine. These are the words of the Lord to your heart. It’s how He sees you, despite your shortcomings and offenses. You have been adopted into royalty, seated in heavenly places with the Father.

“But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.” (Isaiah 43:1)

Because of this truth, we get to live in relationship with the Lord. Not only did He redeem us, but He chooses us daily.

Redeemed

The blood of Jesus made peace with you and God. God sent Himself, to pay the price of sin, for your cleansing. You are redeemed through the lamb of God!

“And through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross. And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him,…” (Colossians 1:20-22)

Set apart

In moments or seasons of life when it’s difficult to remember who Jesus has been to you, put this Psalm somewhere for you to read daily.

“O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is steadfast love, and with him is plentiful redemption.” (Psalm 130:7)

His redemption for you is plentiful! God is eager to pour His love out on you. In response, you get to live your life according to His great works. In Christ, there is steady, lasting provision. He stays the same throughout our changing times.

Redeemer Of All Things

God wants to take brokenness and make it whole again. He does whatever it takes–even the impossible–to save souls, transform lives, marriages, and families. His heart is redemption. It’s why Jesus came to the earth to walk with and know us.

There is always a way

Do you believe there is no way for a circumstance or person to be redeemed? Maybe you’ve seen the absolute worst in yourself or someone else and are sure there’s nothing good ahead. Or, maybe you have made a profound mistake and are unsure how to move forward.

I want you to consider David’s story in the bible. Arguably, he had some significant highs (killing Goliath) and terrible lows (impregnating Bathsheba and ensuring her husband died). We remember him as the man after God’s own heart in 1 Samuel 13. David’s story demonstrates God’s ability to be the redeemer of all things, despite our failures or mistakes.

Jesus: the redeemer of all things

Beautifully, Jesus tethered himself into David’s lineage. God grafted Jesus’s bloodline–despite David’s mistake–into David and Bathsheba’s marriage. See Matthew chapter 1 below.

“A record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the son of David, the son of Abraham: Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers, Judah the father of Perez and Zerah, whose mother was Tamar, Perez the father of Hezron, Hezron the father of Ram, Ram the father of Amminadab, Amminadab the father of Nahshon, Nahshon the father of Salmon, Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab, Boaz the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth, Obed the father of Jesse, and Jesse the father of King David. David was the father of Solomon, whose mother had been Uriah’s wife, …and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.” (Matthew 1:1-6)

I don’t know your story or where you have been. But I believe that God wants to show up in your life as a faithful redeemer. I am praying that you experience the joy of His goodness today!
