Survivors of human trafficking that were rescued by Her Song Columbus have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and gotten baptized.
Human Trafficking Survivors Baptized
The Tim Tebow Foundation recently shared a testimony worth celebrating. The foundation celebrated the lives of human trafficking survivors who recently accepted Christ. The celebration happened at a beautiful pond in Her Song Columbus.“The Her Song team arranged a beautiful pond baptism to celebrate these ladies as they publicly declared Jesus as their Lord and Savior,” the Tim Tebow Foundation wrote. “Everyone gathered to celebrate with a devotional and sweet time of prayer.”
Galatians 2:20 was also shared on the post saying, “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.”
Her Song Ministry
Her Song Columbus is a ministry of the Tim Tebow Foundation. They provide care and help for women who are victims of human trafficking.
According to their website, their mission is to “interrupt the cycle of human trafficking and lead women to freedom.” More importantly, they lead these survivors to the hope found in Christ.
In another Instagram post, the organization further shared its heart for this mission to fight human trafficking. Although a very difficult task, the group vows to continue “pushing back against a darkness so vast.”
“Trafficking has increased exponentially over the last decade, and the numbers tell the story,” Her Song Columbus stressed. “But not the whole story.”
“We want to go beyond existing as an available resource for women who are survivors of human trafficking and be the hands and feet of Jesus,” the organization remarked. “Meeting each survivor where she is during her darkest hour of need.”
Her Song and the Tim Tebow Foundation are giving an example of what it means to display the love of Christ. May more souls find Christ as they continue to advance God’s Kingdom!
