Rescued Human Trafficking Survivors Accept Christ & Get Baptized

Survivors of human trafficking that were rescued by Her Song Columbus have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and gotten baptized.

The Tim Tebow Foundation recently shared a testimony worth celebrating. The foundation celebrated the lives of human trafficking survivors who recently accepted Christ. The celebration happened at a beautiful pond in Her Song Columbus.

“The Her Song team arranged a beautiful pond baptism to celebrate these ladies as they publicly declared Jesus as their Lord and Savior,” the Tim Tebow Foundation wrote. “Everyone gathered to celebrate with a devotional and sweet time of prayer.”

Galatians 2:20 was also shared on the post saying, “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.”

Her Song Ministry

Her Song Columbus is a ministry of the Tim Tebow Foundation. They provide care and help for women who are victims of human trafficking.

According to their website, their mission is to “interrupt the cycle of human trafficking and lead women to freedom.” More importantly, they lead these survivors to the hope found in Christ.

In another Instagram post, the organization further shared its heart for this mission to fight human trafficking. Although a very difficult task, the group vows to continue “pushing back against a darkness so vast.”

“Trafficking has increased exponentially over the last decade, and the numbers tell the story,” Her Song Columbus stressed. “But not the whole story.”

“We want to go beyond existing as an available resource for women who are survivors of human trafficking and be the hands and feet of Jesus,” the organization remarked. “Meeting each survivor where she is during her darkest hour of need.”

Her Song and the Tim Tebow Foundation are giving an example of what it means to display the love of Christ. May more souls find Christ as they continue to advance God’s Kingdom!

Young Man Rescues Electrocuted Man Who Fell Onto Chicago Subway Tracks

A 20-year-old guy rescued an electrocuted man who accidentally fell onto Chicago subway tracks.

On June 5 at the 69th Street Red Line in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood, an unexpected accident that happened shocked everyone. A man fell onto the subway tracks and was electrocuted. A quick-thinking good Samaritan saved the life of the unidentified man.

The incident happened when a fight between two men escalated near the tracks. As the fighting continued, both men fell into the subway tracks. One of them managed to get himself back up to the platform safely. However, the other man touched the third rail and was electrocuted.

Thankfully, Anthony Perry bravely jumped into the tracks to save the life of the 32-year-old man. He carefully lifted him off of the rail into safety. Video footage captured the shocking events and was posted on Social Media.

After Anthony pulled the man, a woman approached him and instructed him on how to perform CPR on the victim. He believed that God sent that woman to save the man’s life.

“There was a lady, I guess she had medical experience. She was talking me through what to do,” he said. “I feel like that was an angel from God. I ended up doing chest compressions and turning him on his side until the fire department got there.”

Heroic Deed

Anthony suffered minor burns from touching the rail. But his heroic act was not left unnoticed, after the video of him saving the man went viral, Chicago philanthropist Early Walker surprised him with a 2009 Audi A8 and a $25 gasoline card.

The Chicago Police Department also honored him for his brave act. District Commander Roderick Watson commended him in an interview with the Chicago Sun and even said that they’re planning to recruit him in the future.

“This is what we need more of. Police can’t be everywhere at all times. This is a perfect example of what we need out here to help support our efforts,” he said. “Now, we have a citizen who actually took charge, jumped in, and should be recognized. … Maybe later on, what we can do is pull him to the side and recruit him.”

U.S. Marshals Rescue 16 Missing Children And Uncover Sex Trafficking Operation

A unit of the U.S. Marshals rescued at least 16 missing children, arrested five people, and exposed alleged sex trafficking operation.

16 Missing Children

At the beginning of this year, the Missing Children Unit of the U.S. Marshals Service Eastern District of Louisiana New Orleans Task Force launched the operation “Fresh Start” to rescue missing children. On March 31, the operation ended, resulting in saving at least 16 children.

Five people were also arrested during the operation. Investigators also uncovered a human trafficking operation.

“Based on the operation, at least four felony warrants exist for adults suspected of involvement with [Missing Child Unit] minors and the USMS New Orleans Task Force is actively pursuing these fugitives,” stated the press release.

Rescued

Among those children rescued are 1-year-old and 2-year-old boys who were kidnapped by family members. A 5-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy had also abducted.

“I am very proud of the cooperative work done by all the agencies involved in safeguarding at-risk children,” U.S. Marshal Scott Illing said. “Our office is proud to be a part of a robust MCU program that took root in New Orleans starting in 2016.”

Several other agencies have partnered with MCU for this operation. Those agencies include the New Orleans Police Department, the FBI’s New Orleans Field Office, Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Florida, the Georgia, Louisiana, and Florida Departments of Children and Family Services, and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

“This work,” he continued, “is being done with our partners while our office still performs its critical USMS missions (judicial and witness security, managing federal prisoners, violent fugitives’ apprehension, sex offender investigations, and service of federal process).”

Continue to for these rescued children as they start their journey toward healing. Pray also for those children who are still to be rescued and pray for all the rescuers who are giving their all for these helpless children.

Teen Rescued From Avalanche After Hearing God’s Voice

Two brothers went snowboarding when it triggered a massive avalanche that buried one of the brothers alive. It was impossible to be rescued until he heard God’s voice speak to him.

Michael Walsh and his younger brother Matt went out to find a perfect spot for backcountry snowboarding in Wyoming. They soon found what they were looking for in a mountain bowl they discovered with an overhanging snowdrift and deep powder. So, they stopped over and climbed towards the steepest point of it.

The two brothers were on the edge of a snow cliff, preparing for the adventure. Then Matt kicked off first and jumped off the ledge that hit the slope below, triggering a massive avalanche. Matt slid off hundreds of feet down the mountain caught in the avalanche. And the next thing he knew, he was already underneath weighty packed snow, buried alive three feet below.

Crying Out To God

Michael helplessly searched for his younger brother all over the place but found no sign of him. While desperately trying to think what to do, he cried out to God for guidance.

“God, what do I do?!” he told Him. And astoundingly, God replied in an audible voice, “Go, find your brother.” It stunned Michael, for he never heard God speak to him like that ever before.

Soon, he continued searching for his brother. But later on, he doubted the voice because he still couldn’t find his brother. He was about to give up when a miracle happened.

Praying

Meanwhile, Matt, buried alive underneath massive snow, prayed to God. He thought he would die when he suddenly heard God’s voice. The younger brother found strength, and it gave him hope he would surely live. Hence, he was able to dig one arm towards the surface that created a small hole.

When Matt reached out his hand, Michael stood directly above him, unaware of his location. Even with the wind blowing, he heard Matt’s voice and soon discovered the hole near him.

Man Says ‘It Was God’s Work’ After Two Women Rescued Seconds Before Car Exploded

A witness of a multi-car crash accident credits Jesus after successfully pulling out two women trapped inside the car seconds before it burst into flames.

At around two in the morning on Sunday, two women rode in an Uber car northbound on the Eastex Freeway, near Jefferson. When suddenly, a truck appeared and collided with the sedan. The vehicle then crashed into the center divider. Another car was also involved in the accident.

An Eyewitness Took Action

Clarence Shelvin, who witnessed the multi-car accident, said, “All of a sudden, we saw cars coming from all directions and crashing through the wall and everything.” When he saw that two women were trapped inside the sedan car, which caught fire, he immediately took action. He rallied several men with him to pull out the women.

“Once I saw the car was wrecked real bad, I knew there was a gas tank right in the back,” Clarence said. “I knew at any time there was going to be an explosion.”

Thankfully, they were able to rescue the women trapped inside the car. But just seconds after pulling them out, the vehicle exploded. Clarence described that the “explosion went all over the place.”

Only one of the women had minor injuries, and authorities took her to a local hospital for treatment.

God’s Work

Clarence exclaimed, “It was just God’s work, and they’re alive.” Further, he credits Jesus for enabling him to rescue the two women. He said, “I’m happy. Thank you, Jesus Christ, I was able to pull them out, me and two other couple of guys. And that’s the most important thing that I could do tonight.”

But indeed, God protected the two women whom Clarence and the other men had rescued. The Bible says in Job 12:9-10, “Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this? In His hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.”

13-Year-Old Christian Pakistani Girl Recovered From Kidnapper Who Coerced Her Into Marriage

The 13-year-old Christian Pakistani girl is recovering from being kidnapped by a man who coerced her into conversion and marriage.

On Monday, November 2, Karachi Police rescued a 13-year-old Christian Pakistani girl, Arzoo Raja, from her kidnapper. The Muslim man identified as Syed Ali Azhar, was also arrested for the abduction and coercion into conversion and marriage to the young Christian girl.

“The court noted that issues to be addressed are the girl’s age, whether she was forcibly converted and if her marriage is legal,” attorney and rights activist Jibran Nasir said.

Recovery

On October 13, Arzoo’s father Raja Masih reported his daughter missing. However, Azhar was able to show a Nikkahnama, an Islamic marriage certificate, and an Islamic conversion certificate.

Though Arzoo’s parents provided legal documents, the court-ordered medical tests to confirm her age. Her legal documents from the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) show that she was born on July 31, 2007, and is 13-years-old.

Court Hearing

According to the records presented, the court ordered police to recover Arzoo. Apparently, Arzoo was abducted by the kidnapper the same day her father reported her missing.

Today, the 13-year-old Christian Pakistani girl is being housed in a shelter until her appearance during the court hearing on November 5. Azhar is also expected to be present during the court meeting.

“Glad both the Sindh government and the federal government want to pursue #JusticeForArzoo. There is a lot to learn from the injustices committed in this case. First by the accused and then by our governance system. With both governments on board hope this case will become ground for a renewed focus on child rights,” Jibran continued.

Teenager Lost For 49 Days At Sea Survived By Reading His Bible

Aldi Adilang, a 19-year-old Indonesian teenager, contemplated committing suicide after seven weeks of being lost at sea, but decided to fight for his life by turning to the Bible and praying.

Adilang was working as a lamp keeper on a rampong, a floating fish trap, on July 19, when its moorings snapped.  He drifted miles across the Pacific Ocean towards Guam, helpless with no paddle and no engine to control the fish trap’s direction.

His food supply ran out after a few days and he was forced to burn wood from the fish trap’s hut to cook fish he caught from the ocean.  He also ran out of water, so to survive, he sipped seawater filtered through his clothes.

After about 10 ships passed by without noticing him, he felt hopeless and reached his breaking point.  He planned to commit suicide by jumping into the ocean, but remembered the advice of his parents – to turn to God in times of suffering.  He read the Bible that was with him on the fish trap and prayed to God.

On August 31, MV Arpeggio, a cargo ship bound for Japan, passed by the fish trap and noticed Adilang.  The rescue mission was not that easy as the boat was so large that getting near the fish trap could overturn it.  His nightmare finally ended when Adilang decided to jump into the ocean, and the cargo crew pulled him with a rope onto the ship.

Adilang was taken to Japan where he was accommodated by Indonesia’s consul general.

Adilang’s testimony shows us that God can rescue us, even from our most painful ordeals, if we put our trust in His Word.

This Man Sold His Soul To Satan, He Was Hopeless Until Jesus Rescued Him

Todd Beezley was born with a brittle bone disease which caused deformities in his body.  Because of this, he lived a lonely childhood and was angry at God.

One day while in the hospital, he was devastated when he heard the doctor telling his mother that they didn’t know if they could save his leg.  The 13 year old child in the bed next to him told him that there was still hope for his leg to be healed- if he joined the “devil’s club”.  Desperate to save his leg, he agreed to join and sold his soul to the devil.  Although his leg began to heal after the deal, his internal pain and agony began.

Years passed and his guilt grew and he sought for a way out, but couldn’t fine one.  Eventually a near death experience pushed him towards searching for God again.

Later, Todd became a radio broadcaster, and a pastor came to record one of his sermons.  The pastor asked him if he already accepted Christ as his Savior.  He confided everything to the pastor and on that same day, he accepted the Lord as his Savior and his life was never the same again.

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” [1 John 1:9]
