Christian celebrity Candace Cameron Bure said that sex within marriage should not get “a bad rap” because it is a “gift from God.”

In a recent episode of the “Breakdown” podcast with host Mayim Bialik, Candace talked about her marriage with her husband Valeri Bure. The two have been married for over 26 years and have 3 children together. During the interview, Candace shared how her love language includes laughter.
“Laughter is one of my love languages,” she told Mayim. “I grew up with comedians on the show [Full House]. I’ve been around laughter my whole life. My dad’s a very funny man. Like, I love it. So, I need to have laughter in my life, and that does come with playfulness with my husband, so when he can make me laugh – like, it’s the best.”
Sex within Marriage
The Full House star also emphasized that marital sex is a gift from God and should not get a bad rap. Sex is a “blessing of being married and committed to someone.”
“I’m not trying to talk about my sex life,” she explained. “But I do think it is important to share what a healthy sex life within marriage can be justified in saying like that that’s important.”
She then continued to explain that a couple must love each other both physically, spiritually, and mentally.
“It’s an important part of the relationship that we make time for one another, that we still love each other both physically, you know, spiritually, mentally, all of the things,” Bure continued. “It all comes hand in hand.”
“I’m a happier person, and my husband’s a happier person when we’ve had sex,” she said.
