Kim Kardashian is known to be one of the sexiest model in America. Wearing revealing dresses and clothes had always been normal to her. However, today, she opened up about the awakening that has happened with regards to to her wardrobe.
Kim’s husband, Kanye West recently became a Christian. After his conversion, Kim and her four children made the decision to get baptized this past October. It all happened in the midst of Kanye publicly announcing to the media that he would withdraw from secular music and start recording Gospel-themed music.
The Plan To Show Less Skin In 2020
After her decision, the model who has dressed sexy, has been observed slowly shifting her wardrobe in “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”.
Moreover, she recently revealed her plans to show less skin next year.
Earlier this year, her husband confronted her over the sensual dress she wore to the Met Gala. Nevertheless, Kim clarified that it was ultimately her decision to change her style.
“I don’t know if it’s the fact that my husband has voiced that sometimes too sexy is just overkill, and he’s not comfortable with that,” she told The Cut.
“I listen to him and understand him. Still, at the end of the day, he always gives me the freedom to be and do what I want. But I have kind of had this awakening myself. I realized I could not even scroll through Instagram in front of my kids without full nudity coming up on my feed pretty much all the time,” she explained.
It’s Little Changes For Kim Kardashian
Today, Kim Kardashian’s Instagram posts reveal the little changes she is making. Compared to posts a month ago, she is showing less skin.
Kim also pointed out that her urge to flaunt her body is no longer there. In the past, she had this desire in an her efforts to create her image.
She told the magazine, “I guess I just don’t care as much anymore to want to take tons of photos in a thong bikini. I actually just want to lay out.”
The Social Justice Reform She’s Advocating
The desire to be a leader of social justice change also opened Kim’s eyes. She has been attending meetings in the White House with President Donald Trump and facing lawmakers on Capitol Hill. She realized that her sexualized image doesn’t fit with her desire to advocate.
“I also did think, like, ‘OK, I’m here in the White House and then the next day I was posting, like, a crazy bikini selfie,’” she reflected. “And I was thinking, ‘I hope they don’t see this. I have to go back there next week.’”
