Former NBA Superstar Shaquille O’Neal, popularly known as Shaq, blessed a family of 11 with unbelievably generous gifts!

About a year ago, Shaq pledged to bless someone or do something good whenever he leaves his house. Since that moment, he has been blessing random strangers in the best way he could. Recently, he bought an engagement ring for a guy who was shopping for one on layaway. Last Christmas, he gifted 1,000 game consoles to children at Wesley Lake Elementary School in Georgia.
“I’m just trying to make people smile. That’s all,” he said in an interview.
A couple of weeks ago, he blessed a family of 11 who was having trouble with their car. Karissa and Mandrae Collins, from Haslet, Texas, have nine children. Shaq’s surprise for the family started with him taking the entire family out for dinner.
“Last night we had a surprise visit from Shaq. He took us to dinner as a family at babes chicken. It was so much fun to just hang out and eat dinner with him,” Karissa wrote on her Instagram post.

Family of 11
Upon learning that the family was outgrowing their 12-passenger van and that the air-conditioning wasn’t always working, Shaq took the family to a Mercedes dealership.
“He started the day off by taking us to the Mercedes dealership to get us a new family 15 passenger van. We were outgrowing our 12-passenger van and the air conditioning wasn’t always working the greatest and so this is such an outrageous blessing.”
He then again took the family to Rainforest Café for dinner and blessed other people in that café as well.
“He then took us to dinner at rainforest café where he paid for other tables entire meal not knowing that they were from out of state and here on missions. And then he tipped our waitress $1000 after her car broke down today.”
Shaq’s unbelievably generous gifts for the family didn’t just end there, he also blessed the family with a brand-new Ford truck.
“And then when he saw my husband‘s truck that has been without air-conditioning and heat for a while he took us to a Ford dealership and blessed us with another truck.”
Such a kindhearted big man he is! The Collins are grateful for his generosity and for blessing their family with more than just material things. Shaq also blessed their family with encouragement and love.
“He also spent time encouraging us and loving on our children and speaking life into our family. I am completely lost for words.”
Just as Shaquille O’Neal has been a blessing for this family, let us also be a blessing to the people around us. It doesn’t have to be this extravagant, but we can be a blessing in our own ways.
