Facing Struggle As A Single Mom
Life became tough for Tracy Smith after she lost her four-year-old daughter to Leukemia. What’s more, following the death of her little girl, her marriage also crumbled. She now had to take care of her sons alone.

Tracy, now a single mom, had to provide for her kids’ daily needs. Although she worked in the government, her salary wasn’t enough to raise her family. She could barely make ends meet, because the financial struggle was real. But the struggle eventually led her to go back to church. Apparently, Tracy used to go to church as a child, where she found herself at peace.
Turning To God
The single mom began to turn to God for help. She prayed to Him and asked Him, “God, how can You help us? This is real. We need help. I don’t know how I’m going to take care of my kids.”

At that point, Tracy sought God and read the Scripture. That’s when she learned about tithing, giving ten percent of one’s income back to God. So, the mom tried trusting God with her finances. And within just weeks, she was amazed at God’s blessings upon her.
“I was getting promotions back to back,” she recalled.
For that reason, Tracy became faithful with her tithing and even increased her giving to the Lord. Later, she realized God was teaching her to trust Him with everything, including finances.
For the next 12 years, God prospered Tracy as she continued to be faithful to God with her finances. She got promoted several times, and her annual salary quadrupled. She could now provide more for her family.
Today, Tracy is using her platform as a successful author and motivational speaker for the glory of God.
