2 Timothy 1:7, “That God didn’t give you a spirit of fear, but love, power and a strong mind. “And fear is the opposite of faith, so you can’t do both at the same time. You can’t have fear and be in faith at the same time. And a lot of people don’t understand that. Either you’re going to be in faith or are you going to be in fear.
And the Lord is telling you, “I didn’t give you a spirit of fear.” So that’s another thing we need to highlight, is that it’s actually a spirit of fear. And I’m just going to pray over you this morning, ’cause we’re gonna cast down that spirit of fear, and I’m going to raise the shield of faith over you, that quenches every fiery dart of the wicked one.
So Lord, I thank you that you have not given any of us a spirit of fear, that we would just rise up above fear. And I cancel the spirit of fear that’s trying to dominate the body of Christ. And Lord, I thank you that according to your word, in Ephesians chapter 6, I raise the shield of faith that quenches every fiery dart of the wicked one, Lord, that we do not have fear, but that faith would arise. And as faith would arise, that we would just become stronger and stronger in you, and everything that you’ve called each and every person to become. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
