Who We Really Are

In an episode of Let’s Get Real, these Christian women talked about finding their true identity. Each one of us is created uniquely for a purpose. However, many have difficulties finding their true identity because of the people around them. We get lost because of what people around us are saying.

Our true identity lies just within us. We can reveal that only by relying on God and waiting for God to show us who we really are.

“Just waiting before God and allowing the Holy Spirit to show you and sometimes change your DNA. I know it doesn’t physically change but spiritually, we can change our DNA by just allowing our brain let it bring up the things that we haven’t dealt with. That’s how we find out who we are.”

Purpose

God will mold you into the person you are created to become. He will reveal to you your purpose and calling.

“I’ll go, ‘Search me, Lord. Is there any hurt and pain?’ And if He doesn’t show me then that’s wonderful. He’ll show me stuff about me which is great but He’ll show me stuff about Him as well which is wonderful. So, it just starts to transform you, find out who you really are.”

In the process of knowing your true self, the Lord will be molding you, you have to be open for that change.

“He loves us too much to leave us as we are. So, being real isn’t saying, ‘Well this is me, take me or leave me.’ It’s about being open to change.”

2020 has been a challenging year for everyone as unexpected events have touched the whole world. Then I thought my life was over until “The God Who Sees” video appeared.

Life is full of surprises. You never know what tomorrow may bring. One moment all is well, and another moment, everything just doesn’t work your way. Sometimes these uncertainties cause anxiety and worry. Then hopelessness sets in.

Well, let me ask you.

Have you ever cried your heart out to God? Have you told Him everything without holding back saying, “God, my life is over. I lost my job. I lost my home, I’m broke. And I don’t know where to go nor what to do. I can’t see a thing in my future. It’s all black and darkness is all I see. Nobody even cares. I don’t even know if I can make it through the year.”

If you have ever thought or felt any of these things, then it’s no accident that you are reading this. God wants to speak to you. He wants you to know that He is the God who sees YOU!

HE Is “The God Who Sees” You

Bible characters like Hagar, Ruth, David, and Mary were once hopeless and lived their lives in darkness and turmoil. They experienced rejection, being unwanted by the people they love, and some were outcasts in their day. However, through their lives, God showed His great love and poured out His favor to them. God erased all their misconceptions about themselves as He showed up their lives. He let them know that He is the God who sees them and that His love is what made them worthy.

In the video you are about to watch, God wants you to know that He loves you and cares about every detail of your life.

Kathie Lee Gifford Makes Her Debut as a Film Director

The God Who Sees is a breathtaking short film based on the song of the same title, and is written by Kathy Lee Gifford and Grammy-nominated, Nicole C. Mullen.

Nicole is featured as the narrator and performer, as she journeys throughout the Holy Land recounting the stories of Hagar, Ruth and David during their wilderness experiences, and ending with Mary Magdalene in Jerusalem at the tomb of the Risen Savior, Jesus.

The film is a product of Kathy Lee’s “The Rock, The Road, and The Rabbi Foundation,” which she established through her heart for rabbinical study and her life-changing experiences in Israel, with a purpose to utilize the arts to produce films and music that will bring the glorious experience of learning Scripture from the Holy Land to a hurting world.

The Rock, The Road and The Rabbi

Kathie Lee established the foundation after being so strongly impacted by her trips to Israel in recent years. She decided to set up this non profit company to be used as an evangelistic tool seeking to share God’s Word and hoping to touch souls.

Her belief is that the Word of God, when studied in the land of its origin, with extraordinary rabbinic scholars, is the most transforming power she’s ever experienced. In light of that, she looks forward to using the arts to produce films and music that bring the glorious experience of learning Scripture from the Holy Land to a needy world.

Filmed on location in Israel, the film narrative recounts powerful Biblical stories of changed lives.

The God Who Sees is her first project. She co-wrote the song with Nicole, and Nicole performs it. They traveled to Israel in March 2019 to film, with Kathy Lee directing this powerful piece.

Kathy Lee’s hope is that “The Rock, The Road, and The Rabbi Foundation” will be a vehicle for friends who are similarly aligned in their desire to share the Gospel in a world that is in desperate need.

The song “The God Who Sees,” which quickly rose to the top of iTunes charts upon last week’s release, is also now available for purchase on iTunes.
