Popular worship singer Kari Jobe will be hitting the road again with her upcoming tour after two years of uncertainty amid the pandemic.
On August 5, Kari Jobe, her husband Cody Carnes, and the Elevation Worship will be kicking off their tour in Grand Prairie, Texas. The 13-day tour will end at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on August 21. This will be the artist’s first-ever tour after two years of hiatus amidst the pandemic.
In an interview with FaithWire, Kari revealed that the tour came together last minute when Elevation Worship leader Chris Brown called her to join in the tour.
“I’m thankful we can all be together again,” Kari said.
Kari also talked about working out the balance between her family, ministry, and career as a musician. She and Cody have two sons, Canyon and Kingston. She admitted that it was never easy for her and her husband to juggle all their responsibilities, but they just trust the Lord’s leading for their lives.
“It’s a daily thing,” she said. “We’re so thankful for the Holy Spirit and just thankful for being able to hear the Lord’s voice and just navigating, ‘God, where do we give our yes? Where do we give our no? How do we parent and be married and be artists and serve in our church?’”
But they have found joy in serving in multiple ways. However, they can never have the answer to everything, they just have faith in the Lord.
“I don’t know if we’ll ever have the answer, but we kind of go season-by-season with it.”
