Turn your eyes to God and trust in Him.
Trust in Him
Gillian Cameron shares a message of encouragement for everyone to trust God at all times. She referenced the story of the 12 spies and how Joshua and Caleb trusted in the Lord at that time. When Moses was leading the Israelites back to Canaan, he sent 12 spies to survey the land.
When they returned, they have reported to Moses that the country is a fine country and that the fruits from it are good. However, 10 of those spies warn Moses of how big the people in that country are. They even reported that they can all be killed if they try to take the Land.
Only two of those spies placed their faith and trust in the Lord. They even told the people that they can easily take the land because the Lord is with them. The people didn’t believe in their message. Today, this story is still true, especially in the United States. People are not believing in the messages of God and are not trusting Him.
“Do you know that in this nation of four million people, there are more than two people in this room? If we were to bring a good report of what it is to trust in God, if we were to bring back a good report of what the Lord is doing on the earth… perhaps things will shift in our nation.”
Turn Your Eyes To God
While we’re following the path where God is leading us, we sometimes tend to worry about the things that are in our way. We tend to look ahead and focus on all difficulties even though God has already set our destiny.
“We’ve surrendered our life to the lordship of Christ and He’s in the driver seat, but we’re so busy just having our own little conversation and doubting because we’re looking at the circumstance. But God will send rain when we need the rain, He will send provision when we need the provision.”
God has already won every victory for us, we just have to trust Him in every circumstance.
“He is the one that looks after us, He is with us at all times. So, we can turn our eyes and trust in Him.”
