Tears come out whenever we feel pain or struggle with something or feel hurt and sad about something. And let me tell you, it’s okay not to be okay. It’s okay to cry.
Perhaps God designed tears to relieve us from pain whenever we’re hurt and feeling blue. There’s just something about tears that, after we express and cry out everything, somehow it lifts our burdens.
God Collects Our Tears
When the Philistines were trying to seize David in Gath, David cried out to God. And when he called out to God for His protection, he said in Psalm 56:8,
“You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in Your bottle, You have recorded each one in Your book.”
Through this Psalm, David revealed how much God treasures us. That even in our pain and suffering, He collects our tears and has recorded it in His book.
God Sees You
That’s why dear woman, know that your tears will never be in vain. Your pleas and cries to God are heard. He sees you. Trust that it’s going to be worth it all.
God cares, and when you’re hurt, He is hurting too. He doesn’t want to see His children suffer and broken; that’s why He sent His Son Jesus to save us. We were destined to hell because of our sins. But Jesus took all of that on our behalf so we might be saved. So, what makes you think that He doesn’t care? Why do you doubt?
Your prayers, your tears, will see its fruit someday. Just hold on and be patient. Trust His great love for you. All the waiting will be worth it, and you’ll never regret it.
