Many of us, especially today’s generation, really don’t know who they are. A lot of us are still searching for our purpose and identity and that’s normal! The author of the New York Times Bestselling Book “Godmothers” shares to everyone how can we know who we truly are.
“Who are you?” Lisa asked the audience. “A lot of times we have a generation that is trying to figure out what they’re called to do and they don’t even know who they are.”
Millennials
The mother of four shares the things she learned about millennials after meeting thousands of them.
“Millennials are some of the most well-educated, well-connected people on the face of the earth,” she said. “But they’re also some of the most confused. It’s because they have so many options… And the overwhelming amount of choices is paralyzing them. They also know that they’re called to do something significant.
Who Are You?
This generation doesn’t know what they’re called to do because they are called by God to do something that has never been done before by the previous generations. You will only discover that calling in the presence of God.
Before we can truly know who we are and what our calling is, we first need to know who God is.
“We have to have a revelation of who our Father really is,” Lisa emphasized. “And when we have a revelation of who our Father really is, He tells us who we really are.”
Only God knows about our true identity and what our destiny is.
“He will call you by a name that is attached to your destiny rather than your history.”
