Tim Tebow Speaks Words Of Encouragement About Being Your Best

Well-known Christian athlete Tim Tebow shares words of encouragement to everyone about being your own best.

Oftentimes, when parents want to encourage their kids, they often tell them that they could be whatever they wanted to be. However, Tim Tebow, founder of Tim Tebow Foundation, a non-profit organization that aims to bring faith, hope, and love to children in need, disagrees with that statement.

In a Facebook reel video, Tim talked about reaching one’s God-given potential in life.

“I think when people say, ‘You can accomplish whatever you want,’ you’re telling kids a lie,” he said.

Words of Encouragement

It is never certain that every person can reach whatever they want to be in life. Nobody could really be certain of who they would be in the future. But one thing is certain, each one of us can reach our God-given potential if we only let Him lead us.

“I truly believe that you can reach your God-given potential. That you might not be the best, but you absolutely have a chance to be your best. In exactly the way God made you.”

We are all created in the image of God and we are all here for a purpose. Though we might not be the best in certain aspects, we can be the best version of ourselves, according to how God created us to be.

“He didn’t make a mistake on you, He made you exactly the way He wanted you. And you have the chance to be your best.”

To the young ones, do not work on reaching whatever you want, but work on being intimate in the Lord. In that way, we can be who God created us to be. Be your own best.

Your Words Hold Power

Hey, God TV family. I want to share something with you guys about our words. We homeschool our gal. She is 10 going on 11, so we’re constantly looking to try to find fun projects to incorporate into her homeschooling, and something that we kept hearing about was this, you can Google it, YouTube it, find it. We used rice. So rice and water. We had two jars. There was the same amount of rice, same amount of water in these jars. And one jar, we would speak blessings over every day, and the other jar we would speak curses over. We wanted to see how that would affect the rice. I know this sounds crazy. I challenge you to test it out with your homeschoolers, if you have one.

What was crazy was, after I think it was 15 days, we were in and the smell from the one that we spoke curses over was, I can’t even, like it was putrid. We had to keep it in the garage. And the one that we spoke blessings over, it just had this like smell of rice. It was completely different. I know that there have been scientific studies about this and on plants and different things, but it was just such a practical way for us to show our daughter how the Word is so true, that “The power of life and death are in our tongue,” Proverbs 18:21.

And so I just want to encourage you to be reminded. The rice, the stinky rice. It really does work, of just watching our words, speaking blessings over our family, watching what we’re speaking over ourselves. And so, I just want to pray for you today that you would be mindful of your words. I just pray that you would be someone who is filled with blessing and life, that you would be known for speaking life over those around you. That you would speak life over your kids, over your marriage, over your spouse, over your business. And I just declare that over you today; be encouraged. Don’t have that stinky putrid rice stuff going on in your home. Let’s speak blessings. Blessings over you guys.

Three Christian moms share words of encouragement for overwhelmed and tired parents going through tough moments.

Parenting

In an episode of The Mum Show with host Marina Magdalena, Emma Browne and Clare Hooper joined her to talk about the hardship of being a parent and being a mom. Being a parent is the toughest and the most stressful job there is. Raising children comes with so many responsibilities and pressures.

“Parenting is the most stressful job ever,” Clare said. “Yes, it’s wonderful, yes, it’s exciting and joyful and we can have moments where it feels like a real privilege. But the reality is, it is really hard and it’s really stressful… So let’s really take a look and be aware of how full your stress bucket is right now and think what other things that I can do to try and start to take steps.”

Tired Parents

Every parent needs to take care of themselves. They firsts need to be physically, emotionally, and spiritually well to raise their kids well. Clare shares ways on how a mom or dad can take care of themselves. The first is taking time out, having some me-time where you can just spend your undisturbed time alone with the Lord.

The second is surrounding yourself with friends. You need supportive friends to help you get through all the hardship, that is also true with parenting.

Words of Encouragement

Most moms, or women in general, face criticism when they can’t be perfect in what they’re doing. That needs to be stopped right now. Women must not conform with what society tells us, we must be molded by how God designed us to be. We must hold on to the identity that Christ has given us.

“Often as women we are under this massive assault of saying, ‘Do you know what? You’ve not made the grade. You’re not making the standard, you’re not good enough.’ I think as moms of faith, it’s our job to say, ‘That ends now. That ends in my generation. I’m not letting that go any further.’”

“I’m going to know who I am in God and I’m going to make my body, make my mind, make my soul do everything I can to worship Him, to honor Him, and to rejoice in all that God has made me.”
