Your Testimony is So Powerful
The ancient meaning of the word Testimony in its root means ‘do it again/ repeat’ we believe that the power of testimony lies in the fact it depicts the nature of our God.
When we give a testimony of a healing, we depict the fact that He is our Healer
When we give a testimony of a healing, we depict the fact that He is our Healer; from a testimony regarding a headache cured to cancer being healed! Also, a testimony about receiving the much needed 100 cedis or making a million dollars, shows that He is our Provider.

Bible says that believers overcame the devil by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony (Revelations 12:11).
Testimony is a fighting tool, a mighty weapon in this war. As we learn about His nature to us, we learn to trust Him in all, and boldly know that He who did it before, will do it again.
David stood on His testimony when facing Goliath. David said the God who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, will save me from this Philistine (1 Samuel 17:37). He referred to a past victory to access a future one. He stood on his testimony to get a ‘repeat’ miracle.
The Lord instructed the Israelites not to forget the things their eyes had seen and to pass on the stories from generation to generation.
Testimony is important to God. In the book of Exodus, even though He had commanded them not to keep the manna overnight except for the Sabbath, God instructed them to put some in a vase in the ark as a testimony for generations to come, about His divine provision (Exodus 16:32). The Lord instructed the Israelites not to forget the things their eyes had seen and to pass on the stories from generation to generation (Deuteronomy 4:9). Testimony is a catalyst for divine chain breaking faith for many generations.
Keep your testimonies, as a matter of habit. I intentionally have a testimony book, in which I record testimonies of Jesus in the Bible from Mark (as this book speaks the most about the works of Jesus) and my own testimonies of healings and break through.
A man easily forgets, so make a conscious effort to keep your testimonies, as a reminder of His goodness and His nature, and as a catapult into other testimonies.
