Take Heart
Hope is found in God. In other words, your faith is in God. This revelation didn’t come easily in my life to say the least. But the amazing part to me is that God knew that. He knew you’d face challenges and life’s trials. He never said it would be easy. But, take heart. Those who hope in God will renew their strength.
Hope Redefined
What does it mean to truly have hope in God? Well, Google defines hope as,

- a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.
- a feeling of trust.
Now, let’s add to those by putting “in God” at the end.
- a feeling of expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen in God.
- a feeling of trust in God.
Hope In Things Unseen
To have hope in God is to trust him completely. This idea can be challenging at times but isn’t that what faith is all about? It wouldn’t be faith if we didn’t have to take risks and trust in things unseen. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1) Sometimes, life will throw us things that we have no choice but to turn to God with. Additionally, more often than not, there are things that you can’t handle alone. God uses trials and tribulation to activate your faith in Him. Oftentimes, God will use what the enemy meant for and evil and turn it for good. He’ll turn it around and use it for His glory. God is your strength in the midst of whatever you’re going through today. Are you willing to bet that He is who He says He is?
Living Hope
God renews your strength. That’s a promise. The burden of life was never meant for you to carry. Cast your burdens on Him today and have faith in His name. He is your living hope. God is good. He is with you.
