Yes, the words of Jesus still ring true today – the Kingdom of God is within you! You are not alone. He is with you always (Matthew 28). You have been given the Holy Spirit as a deposit guaranteeing your inheritance (Ephesians 1:13). He lives inside of you! The Holy Spirit living inside of you is the same power that raise Christ from the dead (Romans 8:11). Yes, my friend the Kingdom of God is within you!
Jesus Said It, It’s Time To Believe It
Luke 17:20-21 NKJV – “Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; 21 nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”
How often does it feel like Jesus is far off or “up there”, but never right here? There are so many places throughout scripture where promises are given – “I will be with you always” (Matthew 28), “I knit you together in your mother’s womb” (Psalm 139), “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you” (Acts 1:8) – that the Lord is close. He’s near. Jesus died to be in relationship with you and me. So why do we engage as if He isn’t near?
It’s time to believe the truth and promises we are given in the Word of God. We must stop letting situations and circumstances dictate our reality. We are seated in heavenly places now with Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6) and the reality is that He is with us…and not just with us, but He lives inside of us!
Overcoming Roadblocks
What’s preventing you from believing His truth for your own life? We all face roadblocks. The enemy is prowling around like a roaring lion looking for who he can devour (1 Peter 5:8). This is true! But when we are rooted and grounded in love (Ephesians 3:17-20) and stand on the promises of God there is no “bait” in our lives to lure the enemy. Light cast out darkness (John 8:12)!
When you know the truth the truth will set you free (John 8:32). Walk in the truth that the Kingdom of God is within you!
