A ministry that has been given to all believers is reconciling unbelievers unto Christ. We are saved to save the sinners, each of us that have received Jesus Christ into our lives as our Lord and savior have been reconciled.
Romans 10:9-11 says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.” Repentance and confessing the Lord Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior is a reconciliation from sinners to children of God.
Reconciliation For The World
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life,” John 3:16. Out of indescribable love of God, His nature, He gave His only Son to the world so all can be reconciled unto Him because He does not want anyone to perish but rather have everlasting life (2 Peter 3:9, John 3:17). Jesus also said to James and John that He did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them (Luke 9:54-56).
Each believer has been commissioned by Jesus Christ Himself to be a minister of reconciliation. Jesus specifically told us to go into all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. And to teach them to observe all things. (John 28:18-20, Acts 1:8). We are called to lead people to Christ.
Preaching The Gospel With Love
We are not to force the Gospel of Jesus Christ on to anyone, but to preach it in love. When our lives reflect the fruit of the spirit, our lifestyle will attract many. This also makes it easier to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and reconcile others to Christ. Remember, Jesus Christ said we are the light of the world. He encouraged believers to let our light so shine before men so that they may see our good works and glorify the Father (Matthew 5:14-16).
Fear keeps many believers from sharing the Gospel. Paul reminded us in 2 Timothy 1:7 that God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of sound mind.
If you are willing to give your life to Christ, kindly confess the prayer below. Jesus will be joyful to receive you. After all, He left the 99 to come after you so that you can be saved (Matthew 18:12-14).
“Lord Jesus, I am a sinner, please forgive me of my sins. I believe You are the Son of God, You died for my sin and God raised You from the dead. I accept You as my Lord and Savior, please come into my life, in Jesus name.”
Now that you have received our Lord Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Savior, try to join a Bible teaching Church so you can grow and get to know Jesus more and more. Additionally, here are some helpful confessions for you to recite out loud daily:
