Empowering Hearts and Souls
Get ready and set on to taste some unique refreshing iced teas and some empowering Word at Rosie Jean’s Sweet Tea & Jesus.
Kylee Jean and her husband love Jesus. Their love for Him has led them to serve people with some tea and Jesus. They embrace this way of demonstrating their faith by serving His love to others.
Kylee initially started with her T-shirt company. She got the inspiration for this from her own experience as a stay at home mom. As a mom, though she loves being stylish, she always puts comfort before style.
It all began with one simple T-shirt that she owns. Kylee felt empowered whenever she wore it because of the saying that was on it. The only drawback was that it looked frumpy. But she wanted something stylish. So she started to design her own line of super stylish T-shirts with empowering words on it. She feels being Christ-followers doesn’t mean you have to wear only turtleneck tees.
She hopes that by wearing Rosie Jean’s tees you will feel the spirit of the Lord and get closer to Christ even more.
Their next plan for “Sweet Tea & Jesus” came from God as she and her husband were in prayer. So they decided to market their T-shirts and their tea together.
After remarkable success in several markets, they expanded to fairs and festivals. Shortly thereafter they expanded their territories by going mobile on three campers serving flavored sweet tea. They currently travel across central and southern Illinois and southern Indiana.
The name Rosie Jean is a combination of Kylee’s Grandma Rosie and her Granddad Jean. She cherishes the memory of her sweet God-fearing grandparents. She can’t wait to have a reunion with them in heaven. They are her role models and it is from them she learned to love Jesus, to work hard, and never give up.
To Kylee, her Grandma is the ideal Proverbs 31 woman and she tries to live up to the legacy of her Grandma. She lives her life with the purpose of loving God because of her grandparents who taught her to love God with all of her heart.
Kylee’s go-to scripture during hard times has always been, “‘I know the plans I have for you’, says the Lord, ‘plans to give you a hope and a future.'” (Jeremiah 29:11)
Kylee’s message to everyone is, “God loves you and is working on an unforgettable future for you. A future filled with hope and love!”
