Thousands accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior at Kanye West’s latest “Sunday Service” in Baton Rouge.

“Sunday Service” in Baton Rouge

On November 2, 6,000 people gathered in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to worship and listen to the Gospel. With no fancy audio equipment, lights or stage, they worshipped the Lord with Kanye West and Pastor Jonathan Stockstill.

Pastor Jonathan of the Bethany Church lifted the name of Jesus and welcomed Kanye to the crowd.

“Can we hear it for Jesus?” Stockstill asked. “He is King tonight.”

Kanye, with 6 year-old daughter North on his shoulders, opened the “Sunday Service” with “Closed on Sunday.”

Pastor Curvine Brewington

Pastor Curvine Brewington, musician and Crossroads Church leader, was in attendance at the event. He took to Instagram to share what he witnessed during the “Sunday Service,” addressing those who doubted Kanye.

“If you’ve ever doubted the legitimacy or spiritual impact of this #sundayservice project, simply look at this incredible shot taken by @the.smitan during the altar call. YES, I said ALTAR CALL,” he wrote on his post together with some pictures of the service.

Pastor Curvine emphasized that the name of Christ was exalted during the service. He also shared that thousands of people in attendance receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

“Tonight, worship was lifted, the name of Christ was exalted, the Word of God was preached, a multitude prayed together, the Gospel was clearly proclaimed, and an opportunity to respond was given,” he added. “In a crowd of 6,000 people from all walks of life, all ages, and all races, I witnessed over 1,000 people respond to The Gospel by raising their hands to accept Jesus as their Lord & Savior!”

Most noteworthy, through Kaye’s transformation, a new wave of revival is happening. May God continue to use Kanye to make His name known to all people of the Earth.

Revival

“The Spirit of the Living God was indeed present. I danced, wept, stood in awe of God’s redemptive work, & can honestly say that tonight I witnessed a new wave of REVIVAL first hand.”
