NFL Player Trey Burton baptized his 6-year-old son Jaxon outside his local church in Tampa. He posted a video on his Twitter account of that moment saying his son is “FOREVER CHANGED.”

Indianapolis Colts’ Trey Burton has been known by his fans for his “Philly Special” touchdown pass in Super Bowl LII. But to the Christian athlete, his athletic achievements are not the most important thing to him. The most important thing for him is his faith in God, hence, he has been using his platform as an NFL player to share the Gospel of Christ.
In 2016, back when he was playing for the Philadelphia Eagles, Trey and chaplain Ted Winsley conducted a baptism to some of his teammates. Mychal Kendricks, Jordan Hicks, Kamu Grugier-Hill, David Watford, and Paul Turner all professed their faith and got baptized. The baptism happened in the team’s practice facility recovery pool.

Son’s baptism
Recently, he is again proclaiming his faith, and this time, it is now with his 6-year-old son Jaxon. On March 1, he blessed and baptized Jaxon in a pool outside his local church in Tampa. The proud father then took to Instagram and Twitter to share the memorable event!
“My little man is FOREVER CHANGED,” the proud father wrote on his Twitter. “I’m so proud of Jax for his boldness and thankful for the spirit he has been given. Praying he will keep his eyes fixed on Jesus no matter what is going on in the world.”
In the video, the pastor who is standing next to the father-and-son duo asked the young boy who his Savior is now. Jaxon then proclaimed that Jesus Christ is his Lord and Savior now and forever!
