Kellan Lutz is well-known for his role as Emmett Cullen in the movie ‘Twilight’. He said that he is grateful for his Christian faith after a tragic experience. He and his wife, Brittany, were supposed to welcome their first baby but she was declared stillborn last February.
In an interview with LaPalme Magazine, Lutz, shared about how their faith helped them get through their loss. He said, “There is no easy way. But I’m just so grateful for our faith and sharing the blood of Jesus Christ.”

“We don’t have all the understanding in the world. There are some tough days where you’ll see the sonogram and you’ll see her cute little nose that she had,” he continued.
“But then again, we are so grateful she is in heaven. And we remind ourselves that she didn’t have to come into this world and deal with heartbreak, and she gets to be with Jesus. It’s bittersweet.”
He added in his interview, “If you don’t learn to be happy where you are, you’ll never get to where you want to be. That has always been a motto of mine. You have to find happiness. Wherever God has you in life, He has you there for a reason.”
Encouraging Others
He and Brittany have been vocal about how God got them through this hard season of their lives in their social media accounts.
Lutz is feeling hopeful as he shared in one of his Instagram post that he, “had my season of mourning and now I’m ready to dance.” He quoted from Ecclesiastes 3 that there is a time for everything and they, “Can’t wait to try again when the time is right and God willing.”
Brittany also shared an inspirational post on Instagram. She believes, “God’s not done writing my story.” She encouraged everyone that, “If you’re having a crappy chapter, this isn’t the end of your story either! You’re gonna get through this.”
