They did not reveal the specific location and the time of the meeting. In the statement from Telegram, the “Russian and Ukrainian diplomats would meet without preconditions at an unspecified location on the Belarusian border.”

Ukraine released its statement hours after Russia announced they would be awaiting peace talks in Belarus through a diplomatic delegation.
Kyiv Invasion
Russia offered to do peace talks with Ukraine in Belarus at the outset. However, the Ukrainian officials rejected the plan because Belarus is “Russia’s ally and neighbour where there is a large number of Russian troops stationed.”

Currently, the Russian troops continue to try taking over the Ukrainian capital Kyiv. And since the invasion on Thursday, they still failed to do so.
“We have withstood and are successfully repelling enemy attacks. The fighting goes on,” President Zelensky said in a video.

After the West imposed economic sanctions against Moscow and Nato leaders cited “aggressive statements,” President Putin responded. On Sunday, he “ordered his military command to put nuclear-armed forces on high alert.”
US Ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, said that “President Putin is continuing to escalate this war in a manner that is totally unacceptable and we have to continue to stem his actions in the strongest possible way.”
Many Ukrainian citizens have been displaced because of the war. Hundreds of thousands escaped to neighboring nations, especially Poland.
According to the United Nations, “at least 240 Ukrainians have died.” Meanwhile, the Ukrainian defense ministry said that “4,300 Russian troops” have died.
Let’s continue to pray for peace amid the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Pray for the war to end peacefully, that the bloodshed would come to an end.
