Verse Of The Day KJV: Proverbs‬ ‭4:23

Guard Your Heart.

Verse Of The Day KJV: Proverbs‬ ‭4:23
Verse Of The Day KJV: Proverbs‬ ‭4:23

The Verse Of The Day KJV comes from Proverbs‬ ‭4:23‬ – “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

The ground of your heart can either be filled with thorns of resentment, bitterness and strife or it can be nourished by God’s Word and flourishing with His Promises, it’s your choice. Your spiritual heart condition is vital to the success or failure of your home.

What issues are you allowing to penetrate the ground of your heart? What problems are you allowing to weigh you down? It is your choice to contaminate the ground of your heart with the cares of this world and the contaminates of life or you can choose to allow the Word of God through this Verse Of The Day KJV to cleanse you from the inside out – making you whole in every area.

It’s important to diligently guard and protect your heart with His Word and not become hardened by man’s opinion. When the issues of life weigh you down, spend time in His Word and allow Him to lead and guide your heart, home and family. Memorise this verse of the day KJV.

Meditate on His verse of the day KJV

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” (Joshua‬ ‭1:8‬)

When you choose to exalt the Word Of God over your circumstance, you’re choosing to prepare your life’s path for good success. God wants you to think on, and meditate on Him alone. Though the cares of life may weigh you down, Christ wants to lift every burden that you may face. He wants to eradicate the load. Choose to meditate upon His Word – both day and night. Deliberately choose to focus on God’s Way of doing things and He’ll lead your heart. When God leads your heart, you’ll never go astray.

God’s Word steers ships

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.” (Psalms‬ ‭37:23)

When you submit yourself to God’s Word and allow Him to lead your path, He’ll orchestrate your destiny and lead your ship. When you set your heart to obey and follow His Word, He’ll guide your house and direct your path – enlarging your steps so that your feet will not slip in error (2 Samuel 22:37).

God is the Author of your life’s course and will steer your ship if you allow Him. It is your choice to allow your heart to be transformed by His Word. Or you can choose to harden your heart, by rejecting His Word. God wants to pour His verse of the day KJV into your heart and breathe new life into you. When God directs your path He’ll even order your enemies to be at peace and He’ll prepare and orchestrate your success in their presence. “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” (Psalms‬ ‭23:5‬)

Daily application of the verse of the day KJV

“He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.” (Psalms‬ ‭24:4‬)

Apply His Word in every season, in every circumstance and in all situations. When you allow His verse of the day KJV to lead, rule and Lord over your way of thinking and guide your way of doing things, He will direct your path and wash you from the inside out. As you digest and internalize this verse of the day KJV, you’re allowing God to nourish the innermost parts of your spirit and soul through His Word.

Your obedience, to the verse of the day KJV will illuminate your path, shining His light on the dim and dark places, shaping your character. Character apart from God’s Word is a man made moral compass that changes with the seasons and times – God Word never changes, therefore His Character is incorruptible and does not change. Allow this verse of the day KJV to shape and develop your character. He’s Called you to be greater. He’s built you to lead.

The soil of your heart and the roots of leadership

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” (Proverbs‬ ‭1:7)

Submitting yourself to God’s Word will transform the way you lead, serve and handle your family and people. What’s embedded within the soil of your heart? When you allow the Word of God to nourish your heart’s soil, your deep planted roots pull from the character and consistency of God’s Word, directing and navigating your decisions as a Leader in every season and in every area. The condition of your heart is critical to God. He wants you to reflect Him in every season of life – in good times, and in bad. God wants to lead your path. He wants to direct your decisions. Use His Word as your heart’s guide and He’ll direct your steps.

Diligently focus on Him

“He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.” (Proverbs‬ ‭10:4‬)

Spiritual slack produces inconsistent and mediocre results. Set a time to spend time with God, focusing solely on Him. Allow His Word to refresh and renew you daily. When you deliberately focus on His Word, He will direct your path and strengthen you. When your heart is cleansed by His Word, He’ll turn your situation around every time. No matter the circumstance, God is with you and He’s for you.

When you guard and filter the ground of your heart with the verse of the day KJV, He will cause you to flourish – allowing you to have good success – His success. Guard, protect, pluck up and keep the contaminates of life from polluting your heart and home with The incorruptible Word of God.
