We all struggle with something. Your mountain may be lack of confidence, fear or anxiety. Or perhaps it is an addiction and you’re desperate to get the better of it for just long enough to change your habits. It could be an abusive relationship, lack of resources, procrastination or depression. Or perhaps you’re stuck in the past, disempowered by regret.
The Apostle Paul offers a much better alternative in Philippians 3:13-14 – “Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
There are 101 things we could list that hold us back in life, but God has so much more for us. He wants us to keep moving forward taking steps of faith and He surrounds us with family and friends who edge us on – people who will help us get to top. Nobody knows this more than Chantell Cooley who did not get the best start in life and yet is now helping thousands of people with her ‘never give up’, winning strategies.
Winning in the Game of Life
Chantell’s family was beset with ongoing financial struggles, and bankruptcy which meant they had to move frequently. As a child she would often take calls from people calling for payment of outstanding bills, however today she is the co-founder of one of the most successful online universities.
Chantell records her story in Winning the Game of Life, an inspirational book that chronicles her family’s struggles and journey from desperate times to a place of more than enough. Her testimony shows that it is possible for anyone to start over and win in the game of life.
