Worship leader Rick Pino shares a life-changing message about wanting God above anything else. He urges everyone to live a life without compromise and that only desires God. As we live our life, we are often faced with temptation and compromise.
Rick cited that if you watch a movie with cursing and sex scene, even though you try to fast-forward through that scene, you are in compromise. But as children of God, we should be men and women who only desire God.
“God is looking for a man or a woman who so desires to say, ‘God I love you more than all of these little pleasures. I want the river of pleasure at your right hand.’ If you want to impact the world, you’re not going to do it if you’ve been disciplined by the world,” Rick said.
Wanting God
He then shared how he grew up in Las Vegas and how God set his heart on fire. A heart that is burning with a passion for His presence. And from that moment on, he stopped having desires for worldly things.
“God uses these little things in your life to just mess with you… All these prophetic stuff are like swirling in me and it’s like the burning eyes of God, the jealous husband, He looked at me with fire and it’s like fire jumped into my heart and It was over with.”
We should stop seeking the little pleasures this world is offering and start seeking the greatest pleasure. That greatest pleasure is the pleasure of His presence.
“I want you, I’ve been bitten, I’ve been gripped with the superior pleasure. It’s the pleasure of your face, it’s the one thing, it’s I’ve seen you in the beauty of your sanctuary, I want you.”
