A wedding is one of the most remarkable moments in a person’s life. And it’s no wonder why one couple chose to honor God on their wedding day with powerful worship, wanting God’s presence to saturate their special day.
Wedding Day Turns Into Worshipful Moment
Most couples getting married are excited to plan what to wear, who to invite, and the theme of the wedding. But for a Christian couple, Brian and Sonia, making God the center of their wedding was of utmost importance.

In a video shared by the groom on YouTube, Brian and Sonia had their marriage ceremony at church. After the groom took his bride’s hand and led her to the altar, their wedding choir began to sing.
In the video, the anointed choir sang “Agnus Dei,” then Bethel Music’s “Closer.” One could tell they aren’t simply a choir but skillful singers and worshipers of Jesus.

The choir beautifully sang:
“Alleluia Alleluia, for our Lord God Almighty reigns
Alleluia, holy, holy, are You Lord God Almighty
Worthy is the Lamb, worthy is the Lamb, You are Holy.”
Following “Agnus Dei,” the choir then mashed up the song with “Closer,” making it a worship medley. The worship song goes:
“So pull me a little closer, take me a little deeper, I want to know Your heart
I want to know Your heart, ’cause Your love is so much sweeter
Than anything I’ve tasted, I want to know Your heart, I want to know Your heart.”
Then the bride and groom raised their hands in worshiping and honoring God on the day of their union. Their union became a powerful worship moment for all the people present on that day, in awe of the One who Authored Love.
