Do you feel like you are in a battle right now? Do you have someone in your life that you can’t stand? Are you in a bad mood with people? Or perhaps you are grumbling because of difficult circumstances? And, you feel like everyone is against you…
If you are experiencing these things, then consider this: what if you’ve been fighting the wrong battle all this time? What if you need to realign yourself to the heart of God and His purposes behind everything you’ve been going through?
If you think that it’s you against the world, then maybe you need to wake up. There are moments in our lives when we tend to focus on the person rather than dealing with the real problem. We put all our anger and disappointments on the people around us, but deep inside the truth is the real problem is within us.
If you could get yourself right, if you could get your mind right, if you will fix your eyes on Jesus, you may realize that all this time you have been fighting the wrong battle.
So stop yelling at your wife, stop grumbling about the circumstances around you and stop complaining all the time. And start dealing with your heart. Ask yourself, what is going on? Align your thoughts to God and your heart towards Him. Sometimes we are fighting against what we should be fighting for.
Fighting the very things that God is trying to use in our lives is one of the biggest mistakes to avoid. Do not dismiss the people that God is trying to use to get you to grow and mature. Do not push away those God has placed in your life for a purpose. Instead of getting angry with them, try to deal with yourself first. And, always check your heart.
