A woman miraculously rescued out of rubble after two earthquakes hit southeast Turkey Monday has made headlines across the world.
The unidentified female was lifted out of debris by rescuers and local residents in the south-eastern province of Sanliurfa. You can see the video of the shared by Anadolu Agency here. Working through nights, rescuers navigate flattened buildings and chilly temperatures in order to search for those missing.
As of Tuesday, death tolls have surpassed 7,000 with thousands of people displaced.
The 7.8-magnitude earthquake hit Turkey and Syria with massive aftershocks, devastating communities, buildings, and setting a record as one of the largest quakes in 100 years.
Thousands of people are still trapped in rubble and surrounded by wreckage.
The United States and China both have sent rescue crews and supplies necessary to aid in rescue missions.
