Is one of your loved ones caught up in the cycle of addiction, whether it be alcohol, drugs, pornography, gambling or something else? Perhaps you’re the parent of a son or daughter who’s life is on a downward spiral, or maybe you have a spouse who’s actions are destroying your marriage. No matter what heartache you have experienced, there is hope in Jesus.
We know that He came to set the captives free and He can and will intervene in the lives of our loved ones as we continue to lift them up in prayer.
As Jesus said: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free.“
This is our heart at GOD TV, that God would break every chain of bondage, no matter how strong, and we are encouraged by every testimony of a person who has overcome some sort of addiction. We know your faith will be built up as you hear these testimonies from men recovering from life controlling issues at the Shalom House rehabilitation centre in Perth, Australia.
We thank God that GOD TV has been able to play a role in people finding deliverance including these men and their families. We’re thrilled to partner with Christian leaders like Peter James and all who serve at Shalom House to share the message of freedom in Jesus.
Shane Attwell is a good example of someone who has come out of a life of addiction and he shares how he finds strength by watching GOD TV and seeing believers worshipping God in different countries.
“GOD TV gives me courage and hope that there is a better life out there even for us who have come out of brokenness. The glory of God is amazing, touching you in your own home in front of the TV.”
Watch the video and see how the Gospel brings people new direction in life. In fact it has the power to completely turn a person’s life around – 180 degrees – that’s what repentance is.
