Your fears are all lies of the Devil and should be defeated!

If you are someone who has fear right now, this message is for you! On this episode of Gather with hosts Ben and Jodie Hughes, they talked about how killing the giants of fear. Jodie started by highlighting that fear is a spirit.

“Fear is a spirit and if something is a spirit (fear is a spirit and it’s not the Holy Spirit), so we can take a hold of it and evict it.,” she said.

She then continued to explain the symptoms of being in fear.

“One of the symptoms of being really influenced by fear is being consumed with confusion, or even a foggy head, not being able to think straight, or being trapped with anxieties and worries about life.”

Fears

If you are someone who has been experiencing the mentioned symptoms of fear, know that fear is a liar! And those lies can be defeated because God is with us!

“Wherever there is a fear, there’s a lie that’s active,” Ben said. “It’s because we’re believing a lie. And those lies are things like ‘God is not able to break into my situation’, or ‘God is not willing to break into my situation’, or ‘I got myself in this mess and God won’t get me out’, all these things are lies.”

In Isaiah 41:10, God has commanded us to not be fearful because He is with us. And because God is with us, nothing shall be against us and we don’t have to fear nor worry about anything.

“Whatever you’re facing today, whatever situation you’re facing, no matter how big or how small, I want you to know this, my friend, God is with you. God is with you.”
